Business Locations: OfficeMax operates over 1000 retail stores in the United
States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. There are 29 customer fulfillment
centers (CFC) and PowerMax facilities (PMX), and 5 customer service centers
(CSC) within the US. Within each retail store is ImPress, a print and document
mini-store. No locations are in New Hampshire, Vermont or the District of
Columbia.
Hours of Operation: Retail store location hours range from 8am – 9pm, CFC
locations hours are 5am – 2am and CSC location hours range from 7am – 7pm.
The non-retail store hours vary based on the volume and business needs.

Store Associate - The Store Associate is responsible for positively
contributing to the customer shopping experience by providing friendly,
knowledgeable and professional service as well as assisting customers
with a total solutions purchase. This position is also responsible for the
check-in and unloading of freight, stocking merchandise on shelves and
cashiering as directed.

ImPress Associate – The ImPress Associate is responsible for working with
customers in a fast paced environment and producing high quality
products on a deadline including consulting with customers to determine
needs, accurately documenting and pricing customer orders, producing
high quality products for customers, on-going training and regular
communication with other associates and management.

Store Furniture Specialist - The Store Furniture Specialist—Key Carrier is
responsible for driving sales and profitability by providing personalized
guidance to consumers to help identify and qualify the appropriate
solution to meet the customer’s needs. This position also serves as the instore expert for furniture related questions and supports sales and
marketing activities for all areas within the store. In addition, this position
will perform Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as outlined in the
MOD standards.

Store Technology Specialist - The Store Technology Specialist —Key
Carrier is responsible for driving sales and profitability by providing

Assistant Store Manager - The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for
assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This
position will lead and represent the store in the absence of the Store
Manager. This position will develop associates for promotion and

in order to achieve company objectives consistently.

Store Manager - The Store Manager is responsible for the execution of
strategic and tactical operational plans, initiatives, and processes within

Battery Specialist - The Battery Specialist maintains lift truck, lift truck
batteries, battery charging equipment, and battery changing equipment.

Customer Administration Coordinator - The Customer Administration
Coordinator (CAC) is responsible for coordinating administrative functions
that remain in the Customer Fulfillment Centers (CFC’s), which includes
but is not limited to customer returns that require operational approval,
shortage credit research and margin exception review. The CAC will
coordinate activities to ensure that all customer commitments are met
with an exceptional level of service.

Customer Delivery Coordinator - The Customer Delivery Coordinator (CDC)
is responsible for the local coordination of delivery functions that remain

within the Customer Fulfillment Centers (CFC’s), which includes but is not
limited to customer requests for returns approval, freight claims, duplicate
pick up requests and driver assistance. The CDC will coordinate activities
to ensure that all customer delivery commitments are met with an
exceptional level of service.

Customer Expediting Coordinator - The Customer Expediting Coordinator
(CEC) is responsible for coordinating multiple office functions to ensure all
customer commitments are met with an exceptional level of service. The
CEC is responsible for the local coordination of expediting functions that
remain in the Customer Fulfillment Centers (CFC’s), which includes but is
not limited to customer returns, credits and retail support. The CEC will
coordinate activities and provide liaison between centralized functions,
stores and sales, resolving issues and communicating progress.

Custodian - The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and
general up-keep of the facility including the warehouse, restrooms,
lunchroom and grounds (primarily the warehouse). Additional duties are
to collect and recycle materials such as corrugated materials, plastics, and
paper.

Delivery Specialist - The Delivery Specialist is responsible for the daily
delivery of customer orders. Duties are to be performed in a productive,
time sensitive and customer sensitive manner. This position as 3 levels Specialist, Specialist II and Lead.

Distribution Specialist - The Distribution Specialist is responsible for the
daily distribution activities, productivity, and quality within the assigned
area(s) of a distribution facility. Typically an entry level training position.
This position has 3 levels – Specialist, Specialist II and Lead.

Inventory Control Associate - The primary responsibility of the Inventory
Control Associate is to perform audits and maintain inventory records
through the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS =
software).

Picking Associate - The Picking Associate is responsible pulling
merchandise off the pallets and placing merchandise on a conveyor within
assigned module.

Voice Picking Associate - The Picking Associate is responsible pulling
merchandise off a shelf and placing it in a shipping box using a voice pick

Wave Planner - Brings in daily order drop and processes orders for wave
selection. Selects orders into wave and releases wave to production floor.

Customer Service Representative - The Customer Service Representative
is responsible for answering inbound calls regarding order discrepancies or
late deliveries entering CSI as needed to correct and resolve customer’s
issue. Determine and review possible resolutions with the customer to
ensure that the resolution meets the customer’s needs. Ensure the loyalty
and satisfaction of customer by providing the highest level of customized
service. Interact via phone, fax, e-mail, or electronic mail reflecting
OfficeMax's understanding of the customer's value, needs, and
preferences, in order to increase the lifetime value of that customer with
OfficeMax. Assists customers in all aspects of customer service to ensure
quality, including expediting, tracing customer orders and resolving
problems.
