Password: What if I’ve forgotten my password?

 Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Click on the Forgotten your password? hyperlink.

 Supply your e-mail address and/or User name.

 Click on the Request Password button.

 Your will receive an e-mail containing your user name and a new system generated password. Click on the Back to Logon button from the Have you forgotten your

password? page or click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Input your user id, copy and paste the new password into the Password field and click on the Log On button.

 You will be prompted to change and/or select a new password.

Password: How do I change my password?

 Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Type in your User name and current Password.

 Click on the Need to change your password? hyperlink.

 Re-enter your Current Password.

 Select a new password and enter into the New Password and Repeat Password fields.

 Click on the Change button. A message will confirm that your password has been changed.

 You will need to click on the Continue button to login.

Password: What if I have received my new password but still cannot sign in?

 Passwords are case sensitive, so type the password in exactly as it appears in the e-mail.

 If at all possible use the copy/paste functionality to copy your password into the Password field.

 Check that there are no additional spaces before or after the password.

Note: You can only change your password once a day.

User Name: How do I change my User name?

 Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Type in your User name and Password.

 Click on the Log On button. Select the Candidate Profile > Change User Name menu option. Enter a new user name in the User Name field.

 Click on the Save button.

 A message will appear confirming that your user name has been changed. You will use this new user name for your next login.

User Name: What if I have forgotten my User name?

 Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Click on the Forgotten your password? hyperlink.

 Supply your e-mail address only. Click on the Request Password button.

 Your will receive an e-mail containing your user name and a new system generated password.

 Click on the Back to Logon button from the Have you forgotten your password? page or click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

Registration: How do I register on the Talent database?

 Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Click on the Not Registered? hyperlink.

 The Candidate Registration Page will appear.

 Complete the fields on the page and click on the Register button.

 You will then be prompted to complete your profile.

 Mandatory data is indicated by a red asterisk alongside the field name.

 Complete the data on the Personal Data screen.

 Click on the Education/Training button to proceed to the Work Experience screen.

 In a similar way you will capture the other information such as Work Experience,

Additional Skills/Professional Bodies, Preferences and Resume/CV.

 On the Overview and Release screen select Release Profile and click on the Complete button to update and release your profile making it available on the Talent database.

 Alternatively, if you use the Search and Apply or Reference Code search options on the

Careers Page to search and apply for a job opportunity, you will be presented with the login page. If you have not previously registered you will click on the Not Registered? hyperlink to get to the registration page.

Hints:

You can skip between the different screens/information by clicking on the named hyperlinks beneath the road map numbers.

A great deal of the information is optional but will assist our recruiters to match your profile to potential job opportunities. It is thus highly recommended that you supply as much information as possible.

 Minimum Required Information: Please supply contact details and attach your Resume

(Resume/CV/Other attachments).

 Ensure that your Profile is released/unlock so that recruiters are able to access your Resume and alert you to potential job opportunities (Overview and Release).

My Profile: What restrictions are there on Resumes, CVs and other attachments?

 File formats: .asc, .doc, .docx, .pdf, .txt, .jpg, .gif, .ppt, .xls, .xlsx, .wpd, .tif, .rtf, .wps,

.htm, .html, .ppts, .pptx

 File size: each 3MB

 Number of attachments per candidate: 5

My Profile: I would like to lock my profile while I update it/I would like to disable my profile for a period. How do I do this?

 Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

 Type in your User name and Password. Click on the Log On button.

 Select the Candidate Profile > My Profile menu option.

 Click on the Overview and Release hyperlink.

 Select Lock Profile.

 Click on the Complete button.

My Profile/Resume: How do I update it?

To keep your profile and resume current:

Click on the My Profile link on the Careers Page.

Type in your User name and Password. Click on the Log On button.

 Select the Candidate Profile > My Profile Menu option.

 Click on the hyperlinks under the roadmap numbers to update specific sections of your profile. Click on the Resume/CV/Other attachments hyperlink to access your resume.

 Select your previously captured resume.

 Click on the Edit button to edit the attachment.

 Click on the Delete button to delete the attachment

 Click on the Add button to upload a new resume.

My Profile: What is the difference between a locked and released profile?

 Releasing your profile in the system will allow your information to be seen by our

Recruitment team when they conduct searches in the Talent database.

 Locking your profile will hide your information in the system and will only be visible to our

Recruitment team if you have applied for a specific job opportunity.

Application: What happens when I apply for a job?

 Each time you apply, the information is routed to the Recruiter.

 After each submission, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your application.

 You can check on the status of your application via the Employment Opportunities > My

Applications menu option.

Application: Should I submit one for each job opportunity I am interested in? Do you keep my data?

 You must apply for each job opportunity.

 Your application will remain in progress until the position is filled.

 Your information will remain on our database.

 If your profile is unlocked/released it will be available for other job opportunities.

Application: Searching for positions

Once logged in you can search for opportunities under the Employment Opportunities > Job

Search or Application via Reference Code menu options.

Alternatively you can use the Search and Apply or Reference Code links on the Careers Page.

Below are some tips to improve your search:

If you know the specific title of a position, enter it into the Keyword search box.

If you are doing a general search, you can narrow your search by Functional Area, Country,

Employment Type and Hierarchy Level.

If a particular position interests you, save it to your favorites to review at a later stage.

If you have created a profile, you can also set up a Job Alert, which will send you an e-mail alert about opportunities that match search criteria which you have identified.

Verification: How do I know if my resume has been properly submitted/received?

 Each time you apply for a job opportunity, the information is routed to the recruiter.

 After each submission, you receive a confirmation e-mail.

 You can check on the status of your application via the Employment Opportunities > My

Applications menu option.

Contact: Can I speak with someone about a job opportunity?

 Due to high volumes, we cannot return phone calls.

 If your application is chosen for follow up, we will contact you via e-mail within 60 days from the date we received it.

 All communication is conducted via e-mail, so monitor your inbox as some of our communications may require timely response.

 Make sure your computer settings are set so that e-mails from us are not filtered as spam.

 Monitor all your e-mail folders for a follow-up message about your application in case any of our e-mails are blocked by your computer system.

Status: How do I know the status of my submission?

You can check on the status of your application via the Employment Opportunities > My

Applications menu option.

 This option will give you an overview of all job opportunities that you have applied for since registering.

 In addition, you will receive e-mail confirmation after each application submission.

Note: If your application is in Draft status, you have not fully completed the application process. Check the box to the left of the position you want to complete and click the Apply button to continue and complete the process.

Ways to Easily Manage Your Experience

 Change your user name and reset your password.

 Specify your career interests and preferences.

 Upload your resume.

 Monitor the status of your application.

 Save job opportunities as favourites in your profile for future consideration.

Due to system and technical requirements, not all browsers are compatible when applying for job opportunities on our website.
