Documents to be submitted for the following license
Complete application duly filed in may be submitted along with the following documents.
Each document submitted with the application form should be serially numbered and duly
signed/ counter signed by the authorized signatory and rubber stamp affixed. Incomplete
application without having the complete documents as per detail below shall not be processed.
1. Teleport License/All earth stations:
1.1 Letter of Intent (LoI) for frequency assignment:
1.11 WPC application form (Earth station form can be downloaded from wpc.dot.gov.in
website) duly filled and signed by authorized signatory.
1.12 Permission from Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for establishment of teleport.
1.13 Transponder allocation from satellite operator (DoS or any other satellite operator as
the case may be).
1.14 Frequency/Carrier plan from Network Operations Control Centre (NOCC).
1.15 Link Budget in the Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) recommended proforma.
1.16 Undertaking to be submitted by the applicant in the WPC recommended proforma.
1.2 Decision letter for frequency assignment:
1.21 Copy of the LoI.
1.22 Spectrum charges payments as per LoI, along with late fee, if any.

website) duly filled and signed by authorized signatory.
2.12 Permission from Min. of Information & Broadcasting for DSNG / SNG/ Fly away
terminals.
2.13 Transponder allocation from satellite operators (DOS or any other foreign satellite
operator).
2.14 Frequency/Carrier plan from NOCC.
2.15 Link Budget in the Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) recommended proforma.
2.16 Deployment of DSNG/ SNG/ Flyaway terminal on the frequency carriers, along with
location after use.
2.17 Undertaking to be submitted by the applicant in the WPC recommended proforma.

TV Channel
3. 1 For endorsement of TV Channel in teleport license
3.11 Permission of uplinking of TV channel from Ministry of I & B through the specific teleport.
3.12 Copy of the valid teleport wireless operating license, whose name is mentioned in Ministry
of I & B permission.
3.13 Request from Teleport service provider for TV Channel endorsement.
3.14 Request from TV channel owner for TV Channel endorsement
3.15 Justification along with data rate of each existing channel including the new channel and
undertaking to maintain the channel quality.
(Teleport should have sufficient satellite bandwidth to support the existing as well new TV
channel)
3.2 For deletion of TV Channel from the teleport license.
3.21 Permission letter for deletion of TV channel from Ministry of I & B.
3.22 Copy of the valid teleport wireless operating license, in which the channel is endorsed.
3.23 Request from Teleport service provider for deletion of TV Channel.
3.24 Request from TV channel owner for deletion of TV Channel from the teleport.
3. For temporary permission for use of DSNG vans
4.1 Decision letter for frequency assignment
4.11 WPC application form (Earth station form can be downloaded from wpc.dot.gov.in
website) duly filled and signed by authorized signatory.
4.12 Permission from Min. of Information & Broadcasting for the event for the use of DSNG /
SNG/ Fly away terminals.
4.13 Transponder allocation from satellite operators (DoS or any other satellite operator as
the case may be).
4.14 Frequency/Carrier plan from NOCC (only in case of hiring)
4.15 Permission for DS, Cell DoT (If applicable, e.g. Higher data rate transmission using
smaller antenna )
4.15 Link Budget in the Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) recommended proforma.
4.16 Copy of valid Wireless operating license of DSNG in use.
4.17 Total estimated spectrum charges payments as per decision letter, along with late fee, if

15.
Instruction regarding cancellation of wireless license.
15.1 Renew the wireless operating license up-to-date.
15.2 Submit the dealer possession letter from authorized dealer/ non-dealer possession
license from the nearest wireless monitoring station as per Indian Wireless Telegraph
Act, 1933, if the equipments are in working condition.
15.3
Submit destruction certificate from an authorized dealer/ inspection engineer, if
equipments are unserviceable.
15.4 Submit a copy of FIR in case of loss of original wireless operating license.
15.5 Fresh application for cancellation.
15.6 Submit the original wireless operating license along with the copy of the last renewal
card.
16 Instruction for disposal of equipments.
16.1
All components like condensers, transformers, etc. which are in good condition and
considered useful be removed from the equipment panel and disposed off.
16.2
The wiring inside the panels of the equipments be cut at two ends and jumbled.
16.3
The transmitting/ receiving equipment panel itself or components like condensers,
transformers, etc. reduce scrap and disposed off.

Transmitting valves/ transistors, etc. may be disposed off after breaking the envelop.
Confirmation of the action as per (17.1 to 17.4) to be sent to Ministry of
