Clear Path MCP (Master Control Program) mainframe system is a product of Unisys. Unisys has built J2EE
capabilities for MCP mainframe system by customizing the sun Java Virtual Machine and the JBoss application
server to run on MCP. Having developed the J2EE runtime environment for MCP, Unisys now intends to
demonstrate the same through a demo application to prove various Java Web Service capabilities of a typical
enterprise business application. In that direction, Composite Application, Online Banking Web Services, Online
banking Application is being developed at UGSI, Bangalore.
Task: Composite Application (Financial Trading System), Online Banking Web Services, Online Banking
Application.
1. Composite Application (Financial Trading System):
Financial Trading System (FTS) is a proof-of-concept application, which will be developed to prove the
capability of Clearpath MCP systems to run Composite Applications. This application should be a
simulation of real time Online Trading with the limited features and non-real-time data. This Financial
Trading System application will offer online banking customers a channel for managing their trading
portfolios. In other words, this application should be an end-to-end application which needs to provide
the users with the functionality to take part in trading of equities, while accessing non-real time data.
Stocks should be either bought from, or sold to, the FTS.
Following mentioned key-technologies should be used for developing and deploying this FTS Composite
Application.
