Purpose of Equipment: To manually weigh, wrap, index and label various sized trays of
meat for sales display.

as length, width, and height are not critical to this equipment so long as
this equipment is an upright floor model and the dimensions do not exceed
the given parameters.

Maintenance Sustainability Requirements: Equipment contractor must have the means or
support organizations in place to perform repairs on equipment. This support is to include
supervision, tools, manuals / prints, skilled labor, transportation and parts.
4.1
Sustainability: Continued parts support for equipment is required for the projected
total life cycle of the equipment plus 5 years.
4.2
Preventive maintenance: Preventive maintenance, to include any cleaning,
lubricating and adjusting necessary to keep the stand-alone wrapping system
functioning properly, will be provided during the warranty period by the contractor.
The preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) for the one year warranty period will be
as follows: PMS 1 week 1-16; PMS 2 week 17-32; PMS 3 week 33-52.

Industry Standards and Contractor Requirements:
5.1
Industry Standards: Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed and National Sanitation
Foundation (NSF) certification, or equivalent.
5.2
Contractor Requirements:
5.2.1
Must be shipped ready to assemble, mount, plug in and use.
5.2.2
Assure wireless communication connections between
scale/labeler/wrapper system and all satellite scales.
5.2.3
Operational testing: Contractor shall ensure the stand-alone wrapping
system is working properly before vacating the premises.
5.2.4
Provide familiarization training. Contractor shall ensure DeCA operator is
able to properly operate the machine before vacating the premises.
5.2.5
No additional work shall be required on the part of the government.
