Men’s Health Personal Fitness Equipment to
Hit Argos’ Shelves July 2014
Men’s Health UK magazine is set to build out their licensing programme
with the launch of a range of personal fitness products developed
exclusively for online high street retailer Argos, in July 2014.
The Men’s Health range of equipment will include a home multi-gym, fixed
weight dumbbells, suspension trainer, medicine balls, resistance bands,
kettle bells and weighted vest - all developed in close partnership with the
Men’s Health editorial team - to be used as part of a home fitness
programme. The equipment will be available through the Argos website
and apps and more than 700 stores across the UK. Argos.co.uk will
feature instructions and customer guides, developed by the magazine, on
how the equipment can be used for best results at home.
Alun Williams, Publishing Director for Men’s Health said, “These products
are the result of very close collaboration between Argos and our editorial
fitness experts. Together, we’ve created an exciting range of high-quality
equipment that enables our readers to better understand how fitness
equipment should be used to generate the optimum results.” The products
will be supported in the pages of the magazine and online at
http://www.menshealth.co.uk/.
Chris Billingham, Argos Buyer for Sports and Fitness, said: “Working
closely with the team at Men’s Health has been a great opportunity to
build on our existing range of branded fitness products. It’s really
important to us to offer recognised brands that our customers want and
we’re delighted to be the exclusive retailer for Men’s Health.”
