Sindh Agricultural & Forestry Workers Coordinating Organization (SAFWCO) registered under the societies Act. XXI of 1860, envisions local communities participating in development activities and acquiring equitable benefits and becoming sustainable.
SAFWCO Hyderabad, Pakistan is launching tender and inviting bids for supply of Hand pumps installation/construction in districts Thatta, Matiari and Khairpur, Sindh Pakistan. This project is funded by the ECHO through Oxfam Pakistan. The overall projects objectives are focuses in early recovery for 17,000 flood affected families by providing WASH facilities.

Hand pump with accessories

Hand pumps Abyar No.6, attached with Kits,
1.5”dia, 3.3 feet long GI Pipe with complete of:
 Class-D, UPVC pipe 1.5” dia, 50 feet long
 Class-D, UPVC, 10 feet screen filter attached with wooden plug


Installation of Hand pump

Boring size 2.5 inch dia 60 feet deep;
 Packing gravel up to 4 feet height around the screen.
Fitting of hand pump machine with all pipes and accessories. outside and surface of the wall around the platform.

10 feet UPC pipe 4 inch dia with thickness of 5mm.

Welding of GI pipe below 1-feet with complete CC work, 12 inch breath, 18 inch depth around the GI pipe.

Interested manufacturer and suppliers registered in Pakistan who can provide requested technical equipment in accordance with the requirements set up in the documents (Instructions to Invitation to tender) available at www.safwco.org
are invited to send one copy of the completed Tender using a sealed envelope by courier to the address below by 17:00hrs April 30, 2011. The bidding envelops should be marked as patterns given below.
