Mount Ali
I’m going to take you to a trip to Mt. A-li, one of the most frequently visited
tourist spots in central Taiwan. Mt. A-li. is a must for almost all foreign visitors to
Taiwan. Sunrise, a sea of cloud, sunset clouds, forest of long-lived trees and mountain
trains are the five major features of Mt. A-li.
Probably the most famous is the spectacular scene of the sunrise of Mt. A-li,
which brings people distinct sensations in the four seasons.
The multi-story building in Ju San is the best place to view and admire the sunrise
scene.
A sea of clouds around the top of Mt. A-li is one of eight wonders of Taiwan.
The best season to enjoy the sight of a sea of clouds is in fall.
Due to the thin air, sunset clouds of Mt. A-li are often brightly-colored and
therefore extremely beautiful. Besides, there are many natural resources of forest in
Mt. A-li. The virgin forests of the timber of Chinese cypress are definitely most
valuable. What's more fantastic, because of the influence of wide range of altitude,
distribution of plants of Mt. A-li displays a combination of the tropics, subtropics,
temperate zone and frigid zone.
Mountain train of Mt. A-li is one of the most well-known mountain-climbing
trains in the world. It is also noted for its interesting yet exciting feature; that is, it
sometimes goes upward and sometimes falls back and moves downward.
After my brief introduction to Mt. A-li, I sincerely hope that you would feel like
paying a visit to it one day.
