Sports & Entertainment
4
iCam Headset represents only a small part of total potential revenue. By introducing live
mobile audio-video communications, streaming,
storage and social networking to the Bluetooth headset
and cellular phone industry iCam creates new and
recurring revenue streams, opens up new markets and
expands a rapidly growing industry segment – Mobile
Video Communications.
Video Communication
The iCam Headset combines live video streaming with
standard cellular communication introducing mobile
video communication as a standard option for the consumer market. Using the latest
advancements in Bluetooth technology, the iCam is the first wireless headset with an
integrated day and night vision microcamera capable of capturing and streaming high
definition video via any bluetooth enabled cell phone and sending the audio-video data in
real-time to one or more cell phones and the Internet. With the iCamLive Network
wireless customers are able to capture their daily lives and experiences for private record
or public viewing, sharing and networking.
Social Networking
iCam Headset | 11/25/2008
The next step for Facebook, Linked In, and YouTube, everyone can subscribe to an
iCamLive account to stream and record their daily experiences and broadcast them
wirelessly to multiple cellphones in their approved personal mobile network. The
evolution of social networking is real-time wireless video communications, applications
and Internet publication. Fees are received from phone carriers, online advertisement,
Internet media applications revenues and subscription fees.
Teleconferencing
For the business market iCam offers multifeed mobile teleconferencing via cell phone and
the Internet. The iCam Headset and iCamLive Network provides businesses and
management teams with the security and versatility of a wireless mobile teleconferencing
and an Internet based video storage and networking solution. The iCam can be used as a
5
complementary product and application to existing videoconferencing services offered by
market leaders like Cisco, HP, Telanetix, Polycom and Apple. The existing global video
conferencing market is estimated to be $923
million in 2007 growing to $1.88 billion in
20121.
Security
Per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics,
security guards, gaming surveillance and police officers held over 2 million jobs in 2006
and employment of security guards is expected to grow by 17 percent between 2006 and
2016.
As the market for security and surveillance cameras continues to grow throughout the
world, the need for increasing levels of mobility, and real-time video streaming, coupled
with on-sight image quality and functionality at affordable prices will drive demand for the
iCam. A police officer equipped with an iCam Headset can be continuously transmitting,
recieving and recording live audio-video feed of the scene, instantly video networking with
other officers, collecting critical evidence and improving coordination in an emergency.
Headset
The three biggest players in the Bluetooth headset market are Motorola, Denmark’s Jabra,
and Plantronics. Worldwide annual sales are over 56 million units with Motorola
