This gives sale rep a better understanding of the contact’s digital channel activities and buying behaviors. (ii) a consolidated summary view of the contact’s activities. i.e. Digital Activities in Marketing Cloud and Activities in Sales Cloud. This enables sales rep to effectively engage with the contact. With opportunities pulled into Marketing Cloud, customers can build models that could attribute opportunity revenue to their marketing campaigns and calculate ROI for their marketing campaigns. In other words, this provides the ability to evaluate how effective marketing campaigns were by looking at indicators such as pipeline and revenue. Built-In Digital Activities The Built-In Digital Activities section in the Contact Overview will be hidden OOTB. It can be made visible using the Page Composer. Additional setup is required to establish connection to the Marketing Cloud system like URL, username and password. Closed Loop Reporting An Opportunity Auto-Sync will be delivered OOTB in the Marketing Cloud which needs to be activated. And OOTB field mapping will also be delivered which can be modified based on business needs. Refer to the Sales and Marketing Cloud Integration guide for more details.
