July 2008
FROM THE COMMANDER:
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or
ill, that we will pay any price, bear any burden, meet
any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in
order to assure the survival and the success of
Liberty.
~ President John F. Kennedy ~
Greetings,
As we prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July let us
remember that the significance of the holiday is the
Declaration of Independence was first adopted by
the Continental Congress. Let us salute our flag and
say thank you to those men and women serving in
our military to preserve our freedom. Let us not
forget that the price of freedom is not free.
God Bless America. God Bless Our Troops.

Carol Lemle, Kim Lemle, Rhonda Clark & Sue
King for coming down to help make the
installation dinner a great success.

member of the riders, if you don’t own a
motorcycle you can join as a supporter. Our

are temp membership cards behind the bar.
The Paul Hill Challenge is the first event
sponsored by the Riders, come ride with us,
and help fund the scholarship fund, or you can
ride the train if you don’t have a motorcycle.

pm on the 26th of July, cost is $15.00 per
person and an extra $10.00 if you wish to ride

Blissfield Beer Tent Volunteers
Needed
We will be helping to host the Blissfield beer tent
again this year and we will still need a few
volunteers to fill some of the time slots. We have a
sign up sheet at the post with time slots for you to
choose the best times for you. We appreciate all of
you who volunteered last year and hope that we can
count on your participation again this year. The days
the beer tent will be open will be Friday afternoon –
Saturday night (July 11th and 12th). The beer tent
will not be open on Sunday this year but we are in
need of some strong men and women to help set up
the equipment on Wednesday July 9th and Sunday
July 13th for teardown. Please contact Rob Hosken
for information.
