COMPETITION SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer
Radio Limited’s standard terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radiocompetition-terms.html (the “General Terms”). Together these specific competition terms and
conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”.

Friday 8th May 8am-5pm [specified dates &

Lady Gaga [specified artist] in New York
Contesting Period: Monday 11th May –Friday
11th May 8am-5pm [specified dates &
times]
Listeners are invited to call to win when
they hear two songs, by [specified artist]
played back to back on Rock FM [the
“doubleplay”], between [specified dates &
times].
The telephone number to enter is 01772
900 974. On each of three occasions, the
first caller through to the studio
switchboard will be selected as the winner.
STRICTLY NO POSTAL, TEXT, EMAIL OR ANY
ENTRIES BY ANY METHOD OTHER THAN
THAT STATED.
Any entries received before the Start Date
or after the End Date (for whatever reason)
will be invalid.
ITEM 5: COMPETITION CONTESTING DATES (if
applicable)
The Competitions will be staged on the

Maroon 5 [specified artist] in Barcelona
Monday 27th April – Friday 8th May 8am-5pm

ITEM 6: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS

The Competition is open to UK
residents aged 18 years or over at the
date of their entry. The Promoter
reserves the right to request proof of
age if needed.

Employees (and their family members)
of the Promoter (or any company in the
same group) or any company involved
in the Competition, including the
sponsor and Prize Provider, are
excluded from entering.

The Promoter reserves the right to
disqualify participants (at its sole
discretion) if it reasonably believes
they have breached any of the Rules.

If there is a dispute concerning the
running of the Competition, or the
operation of any
technical/communications system, the
Promoter’s decision shall be final and
no correspondence or discussion shall
be entered into in this regard.

Rock FM has no responsibility or
liability for for any loss of connection
during a call resulting in an Entrant not
becoming a confirmed winner.


If for any reason the main
broadcast from Rock FM is
suspended and a backup feed is
broadcast (either in the form of a
CD or re-broadcast of another
station) the competition is
suspended.
If an Entrant wins a Prize during the
Competition Period, they will not be
eligible to win again, nor will any other
person residing at the same address as
them
Other restrictions are as follows: the age
restriction for entry to the concerts is over
14's (all under 16's must be accompanied by
an adult).
ITEM 7: ROUTES OF ENTRY AND COSTS
You can enter by:
Listening for two songs [by specified
artists] played back to back on Rock FM
[the “doubleplay”] between 8am and 5pm
during the specified dates and calling the
studio number on 01772 900 974.
The first person [the entrant] to call Rock
FM on 01772 900974 once the second song
has been played may be taken to air by the
presenter and awarded the Prize (the call
may be pre-recorded). As digital listening
can often be in delay, the [“doubleplay”]
will be classed as having been played on
the main 97.4 FM feed.
An Entrant will only become a winner if
they are confirmed on air as the winner.
Only one prize will be awarded to one
entrant when two songs by specified artists
are played back to back on Rock FM [the
“doubleplay”] during the specified dates
and times.
The Competition and the provision of the
Prize are subject to the entrant’s
compliance with these Rules.
“All telephone calls from landlines
will be charged at local rate. Calls
from mobiles may cost considerably
more.”
Entrants must seek permission from the bill
payer before calling to enter.
ITEM 8: JUDGING DETAILS
No Judging required.
ITEM 9: DRAW DETAILS
No draw.

ITEM 10: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The winner(s) will be announced within one
hour of two songs by the specified artists
being played back to back [the “doubleplay”] on Rock FM in the specified
contesting period.
ITEM 11: PRIZE DETAILS
There are three separate prizes to be
awarded over three separate contest
periods to three separate winners. The
prizes consist of the following and will be
awarded to the winner subject to the
winner complying with all of the terms and
conditions applicable to the Competition:
Prize 1: The Script [specified artist] In Las
Vegas
Contest Period: Monday 13th April 2015 –
Monday 24th April 8am-5pm [specified dates
& times].
Prize includes flights to Las Vegas and
accommodation in Las Vegas for two
people. Plus a pair of tickets to The Script
concert at Mandalay Bay Beach, Las Vegas
on Saturday May 30th 2015.
Prize 2: Maroon 5 [specified artist] in
Barcelona
Monday 27th April – Friday 8th May 8am-5pm
[specified dates & times].
Prize includes flights to Barcelona and
accommodation in Barcelona for two
people. Plus a pair of tickets to Maroon 5
concert at Palau Sant Jordi on Sunday 14th
June 2015.
Prize 3: Lady Gaga [specified artist] in New
York
Monday 11th May –Friday 15th May 8am-5pm
[specified dates & times].
Prize includes flights to New York and
accommodation in New York for two
people. Plus a pair of tickets to Lady
Gaga/Tony Bennett concert at Radio City
Music Hall on Tuesday 23rd June 2015.
The age restriction for all tickets is over
14's (all under 16's must be accompanied by
an adult).
The prizes do not include any other costs
that may be incurred by the winner
including, but not limited to, transport
to/from airport/hotel/venue, any food or
drink, extra charges incurred or levied at
any period from any organisation.
ITEM 12: PRIZE PROVIDER
Destinology (the “Prize Provider”). Please
note that where prizes are provided by
third parties, the prize may be subject to
the terms and conditions of that third
party.
The Promoter is not responsible for any
aspect of the Prize, including
unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.
ITEM 13: DATA PROETCTION
Entrants’ personal data (including
telephone numbers and addresses) will be
collected by the Promoter and will be used
to process entries. The Promoter will also
provide winners’ names and contact details
to the Prize Provider, solely for the purpose
of arranging delivery of the prize.
By entering the Competition, participants
consent to the storage and processing of
their personal data as described here,
which shall be strictly in accordance with
current UK Data Protection legislation.
Personal data may remain stored by the
Promoter and the Prize Provider after the
Competition has ended but will not be used
for marketing purposes.

ITEM 14: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND
CONSENTS
ITEM 15: OTHER CONDITIONS

Entrants consent to their voice being
used on the Promoter’s radio
broadcasts and to a copy of this
broadcast (the “Recording”) being
stored
by
the
Promoter
for
exploitation in any and all media for
promotional or other purposes.

To the extent possible, entrants agree
to assign to the Promoter the title to
any intellectual property rights or
interest that they may have in the
Recording.

Only entries received in accordance
with these Terms will be accepted.

One entry per person / Participants
may enter the Competition more than
once

The Promoter has the right to
disqualify participants if it reasonably
believes participants have breached
any of the Terms.

If there is any misunderstanding,
mistake or dispute concerning the
operation
of
the
Competition,
including
the
correctness
or
acceptability of any answers given by
winner(s), or the operation of any
technical/communications system, the
Promoter’s decision shall be final and
no correspondence or discussion will
be entered into on this subject.
ITEM 16: CONTACT DETAILS

The correct answers to questions must
exactly match the Promoter’s answers
to win.

The Promoter has no responsibility or
liability if participants fail to get
through when they call to enter. This
includes a failure to complete a phone
call due to loss of signal, even if the
entrant gets through to the studio
initially.

The Promoter is not responsible for
any costs associated with entering the
Competition, including making phone
calls or accessing the Website.

In order to maintain the quality of the
Promoter’s radio programming and to
protect
listeners
from
harm,
participants may be disqualified if
they are incomprehensible, inaudible
or if it appears to the Promoter (in its
sole discretion) that the caller is
driving, intoxicated or likely to offend
listeners.

Whilst participants are on-air, they
promise not to make any statement
which (in the Promoter’s sole and
reasonable discretion) is inappropriate
or which would be likely to bring the
Promoter into disrepute.

Other than for death or personal
injury resulting from its negligence
and so far as permitted by law, Rock
FM hereby excludes all liability for
any loss, damage, cost and expense,
whether direct or indirect, howsoever
caused in connection with the
Competition or any aspect of the
Prizes.

The Promoter reserves the right to
cancel,
amend,
terminate
or
temporarily suspend this Competition
if it is required to do so due to
circumstances outside its reasonable
control, with no liability to any
entrants or third parties.

complaint will not be considered if it is
made more than 14 days after the date the
