guns or spray bottles) each time
they say the word “rain” or
“pour.”
2►The disciples needed to learn to trust Jesus no matter what,
because… Word Up! Jesus is all-powerful! We are going to learn a
new song about trusting God no matter what.
Let me sing for you the words and show the handmotions. (Sing/say
the first verse and do the hand motions enthusiastically. )
Explanation
6► Little rain or too much rain can be a big problem. Too little rain
causes a drought. If it rains too much it floods Someone might think
that when bad things like this happen God is not in control. Other
people feel like their life is dark, full of sadness. They may wonder if
God is even there. 7►When the Bible talks about “hope” it means it is
something for sure. We can know for sure that God is powerful and
He is in control. Word Up! Jesus is all-powerful! Listen to what the
Bible says about our God…(read Jeremiah 32:17).
Application
Saved: 8►If you have become God’s child by trusting in Jesus to save
you, you can trust that no matter where you go or what happens God
is in control and He has a special plan for your life. You can trust
your Heavenly Father in the storm.
Unsaved: 9►If you have not believed in Jesus as your Savior yet,
you can do that today and become God’s child. The Bible says…
(read John 1:12). When you believe that Jesus is God the Son who
came to die for your sin and receive Him as your Savior, He promises
that you will become His child. Then you too can trust that God is
taking care of you because He loves you very much.
