Congratulations! You are almost done studying abroad in Spain, but you have one more task before you
leave. You joined the Yearbook Club and have been appointed as editor-in-chief. Create a Yearbook
that captures all of the wonderful memories that you and your friends have made!
Your Yearbook should include:
1. Cover (TO BE DONE AT HOME)
□ Name
□ Date
□ Class section (block)
□ Spanish flag
2. Ideal School Uniform
□ Picture of boy/ girl uniform
□ Paragraph describing uniforms (items and colors)
3. Schedule
□ Pictures of classes, times, and names of teachers
4. Floor Plan
□ should include room numbers, class, and teacher names. Don’t leave out
the bathrooms, cafeteria, office, etc.
□ A Brief description of your school (OPTIONAL)
5. Class descriptions (TO BE DONE AT HOME). Title: CLASE 2013
□ A picture to represent the class
□ Write-up, school supplies, objects in the classroom, and teacher name.
6. Class picture page (TO BE DONE AT HOME)
□ An arrangement of at least 10 people that are in your “grade” in Spain.
(They can be celebrities, sports figures, friends, etc). You must include
Spanish names.
□ 2 adjectives to describe each member of your class.
7. Superlative Page. Title: Los más destacados del 2013
□ Title (el más/la más), name of student, picture (optional)
8. Student of the month
□ Certificate
□ Write- up
9. Autograph Page
a. Should be signed by teachers and classmates
b. Messages should be in Spanish
10. Anything extra you would like to add (optional) after completing previous sections
of your yearbook.
Get excited to create this yearbook that will last you a lifetime. These memories will help you re-create your
experience abroad. Be creative! Be neat! Do your best work!
Oral Interview:
The second portion of your assessment will be an interview with your teacher. She will be
asking you all about your trip. Don’t be nervous! Just try your best to use everything you’ve
learned this semester to create a short conversation. You can do it!

5. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
On the front, you will divide your paper into four sections; one for each of your core classes
(Espanol and English will be in the same box). In each box, you need to include:
a. A picture to represent the class
b. Pictures to represent school supplies needed in the class (minimum 4)
c. The teachers name (from your SPAIN schedule)
You may use clip art or draw the pictures but all should be neat, colorful, and show good
craftsmanship.
On the back of the paper, you will be describing each class. You need to tell:
a. In what block you have the class
b. What days of the week you have the class
c. What time the block begins and ends
d. Who the teacher is
e. What he/she is like
f. What school supplies you need
g. What objects could be found in the classroom
h. Tell what you do in the class (minimum 2)
You writing needs to be in complete, Spanish sentences. Use your notes from the semester to
help you (don’t forget to look back at your transition words  ).
You will write the final copy on a small index card to be attached to the paper with the pictures.
The final should be written in blue/black ink or pencil.

6. CLASS PICTURE PAGE: CLASE 2013
¡Qué buenos recuerdos! What good memories you have from
España! You have to create a class picture page to remember all
your friends in Valencia. Your picture page must include:
-10 classmates including yourself (Classmate people of your
choice such as celebrities, current classmates)
- A picture of each person, their names and two adjectives to
describe them

7. EXCELLENCE PAGE: “Los más destacados”
LAS ESTRALLAS – LOS MEJORES
Who in your class is the most creative? the silliest? You will be creating a “Distinction” Page for your
yearbook. This page will include:
- Identify at least five categories
- A picture of each of the winners with their names underneath and the reason
- Some decoration to make it fun!
Remember! To make an adjective “the most” you say “El más…” and “La más…”

10. STUDENT OF THE MONTH: “El estudiante del mes”
Write a paragraph on why you are student of the month for June in your school
in Spain. You will present your certificate you earned and tell the class why you
are such a great student!!
Your presentation will include: (25 pts)
1. Your name:

3. What month you are student of the month for.
4. Your favorite class
5. The teacher of that class
6. Tell 2 things you about you using 2 adjectives (describe yourself hardworking, nice, etc)
7. Tell 2 things you do to be a good student using verbs: I practice the vocabulary, I participate
in class, etc (Conjugate the verbs in “Yo” form)
8. Tell 2 things you aren’t ( I am not lazy)
9. Tell 2 things you do not do (I don’ like to play “viideojuegos”, watch TV all the time”, etc)
10. Describe your school
*The presentation must be memorized, no index cards permitted.
