Review Guide for Spanish 2 Assessment-January 2016 (This has already been stated in class and is addressed in the outline that was posted last week) Study reviews pages, grammar pages, reviewed homework assignments, classroom activities, handouts, jdd activities, and you-tube activities pertaining to Chapters PE through everything that we do up to Tuesday. Focus your final days of study around the following guidelines………. A.Determine whether the following statements are true or false. How do we conjugate it in the present tense???(refer to grammar box on page 5) C.Be able to match up daily routines/obligations/rules of the classroom with pictures.(focus on pages 18 and 19 of textbook ) D.Be able to identify tener expressions(i.e.how do you translate the following to Spanish)?(refer to page 15) -to be sleepy -to be hungry -to be hot -to be cold -to be thirsty E.Be able to conjugate(present tense) the following, irregular/irregular yo/ and stem changer verbs(refer to page 15 for review and page 43 as well): hacer, tener, poner, ir, and traer F.Know how to work with sentences that deal with classroom rules.(i.e.which are things you are to do vs. which are things you cannot do)(refer to pages 18, 19, and 40 for help) Hay que-how could you finish this statement??? H.What type of stem-changing verbs are the following infinitives(refer to page 27)??? jugar, querer, pedir, poder, dormir, preferir, I.Be able to match up affirmative words with their negative counterparts(refer to page 31). e.g.something vs. nothing, always vs. never, also vs. neither...etc. I.Match up phrases concerning after-school activities with their corresponding pictures(refer to pages 46, 47, and 68). J.When do we use Saber? When do we use Conocer?(refer to page 56) You will see situations (in English) like the ones below. You will have to match them up with either saber or conocer. -to know data for an upcoming Statistics Exam -to say that you know how to conjugate verbs in the preterite tense -to say that you familiar with Carlitos(you and Carlitos have been friends for over a year) -to say that you know when Spanish class begins -to say that you know the hall in which the language class are located(after all, you have taken World Languages for several semesters) K.Be able to complete sentences with the correct reflexive pronoun(refer to page 80). e.g. Finish each statement with the correct reflexive pronoun. When I go to an elegant dance, I wear????? With my shoes, I would wear???? N.Vocabulary on Shopping for Clothes(We will cover important points over the week..the Spanish word for loose and its opposite, the Spanish word for dark and it’s opposite, the Spanish word for loose and its opposite, the Spanish word for long(cloth) and it’s opposite).
