The work on a Referred Project titled “Testing of Feed Samples” (ILD/Ref-Proj5152/11) started at Food Technology Section, Food and Marine Resources
Research Centre, PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Karachi was carried out. The
project was referred by the Intertek Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd and involved the advance
analytical techniques i.e. Gas Chromatography and Amino Acid Analyzer
available at Food Technology Section. A sum of Rs. 0.2 Million was charged.

for the year (2011-2012) for their snack products. They are the manufacturers of pops
products (Extruded corn snacks). It is anticipated that through acquiring there rights
the entrepreneur will definitely be able to achieve the quality product needs of the

May 2006 --- December 2007:
Worked as a “RESEARCH ASSOCIATE” at FMRRC, PCSIR Labs. Complex, Karachi and
engaged in R&D programs and testing analysis.
March 2005 --- April 2006:
Inducted as a “BIOCHEMIST” at Food and Marine Resources Research Center (FMRRC),
PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Karachi, under the PSDP Project “QUALITY
ASSESSMENT SURVEY OF FOOD ITEMS AND DRINKING WATER OF
SELECTED SCHOOLS / EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES OF CAPITAL CITIES OF
PAKISTAN”. This project was a survey on use of non-food grade colors in food
products by general public particularly young children. Moreover it can help health
departments to establish health standards, can create awareness to general public as
well as help to establish safe levels of food colors in different processed foods.
Besides conducting biochemical work on color assessment in food and beverage
samples, I was also responsible for motivating the authorities of concerned
schools/educational institutes in order to collect the required samples smoothly.
Presentation:
In regard of above-mentioned PSDP Project, I delivered a presentation on “COLORS
IN FOOD & BEVERAGES” in a seminar at Kohinoor Hall, Hotel Regent Plaza,
Karachi, held on 28th June 2006.

2006, in regard of organizing a seminar (as a member of organizing committee) on
