Given sentences containing infinitives, learners identify infinitives and their conjugation or use infinitives in context; 2. Given sentences with the irregular verbs “possum”,” volo”, “nolo” and “malo”, learners use them in context by applying the form to the correct subject; 3. Given forms for the adjective “hic, haec, hoc” in learners apply the correct form in context, by making it agree in gender, number and case to the noun it refers to. – Vocabulary and derivatives: 1. Given stories about Britain, learners read with comprehension by identifying or translating vocabulary in stories about England; by paraphrasing stories into English or by answering questions about the above stories. 2. Given the same vocabulary words related to Roman Britain, learners define derivatives by recognizing their Latin base and by researching them in the dictionary. Culture: 1. Given information about Roman influence in Britain, learners explain Roman influence in England by identifying historical characters, such as Salvius, by giving evidence of their life and by relating 5 facts about Roman influence.
