This outline contains three elements:
1. Numbering for the 15 major sections and 102 “chapters” (skabs) of the Blue
Annals. All numbering of chapters is my own. The Tibetan blockprint text
contained in Chandra (1974) contains no section numbers, with one exception:
The first major section is styled “first section” (dum bu dang po), though this
numbering system is not continued. The fifteen major sections are rather
labeled by Tibetan letters (Ka-Ba). The smaller chapters in the blockprint are
demarcated simply by the term “chapter” (skabs).
2. Translation and Tibetan text of the titles of all major sections and chapters.
Translations often follow Roerich, though differ where deemed appropriate. The
Tibetan text of the titles is based upon the blockprint in Chandra (1974), and
cross-checked with the table of contents created by the editors of the Chengdu
edition.
3. Page references for the following three texts:

In fact this chapter is primarily concerned with Khyungpo Neljor (khyung po
rnal ‘byor), who claimed to be transmitting traditions obtained from Niguma, a
shadowy figured described as the sister or consort of the famous Indian
siddha, Naropa. These lineages came to form the basis for the so-called
Shangpa (shangs pa) subset of the Kagyü traditions. Although referred to in
the title, Kodrakpa is the subject only of the first few pages. (DG)
