CAFOD’S Philippines Typhoon Appeal:
Today there will be a special collection after Mass for CAFOD’S emergency response
to the extensive damage and suffering caused by the Typhoon. CAFOD is working
with partners to provide emergency shelter, food and water.
Coffee Morning Appeal in the Hall after the 10.00am Mass on Wednesday the 20th
arranged by Arlene Brown (who is from the Philippines).
A call to the men to join the Catenian Association
The Catenian Association is a long established international brotherhood of Catholic
men who meet socially at least once a month, at local gatherings named “Circles”.
Please see one of the members after Mass or complete the form available.
November Dead List Envelopes are available.
Please put the names of the deceased on the sheets provided and return to the
Presbytery. 16 Clairmont Road. The names will be placed on the Altar and
remembered during November.

invited to join and if you play a musical instrument do bring it along.

The Youth of the Parish will be involved in the 11.00am Mass: A Bring and Share lunch

attending the Mass and function afterwards.
Thursday 28th Nov. 7.00-8.00pm Taize Evening at St John the Baptist Church, Iceni
Way Shrub End. An Evening of Prayer in preparation for Advent and Christmas.
Members of other Churches will attend. Refreshments afterwards.
Saturday 7th Dec 2.00-4.00pm Christmas Party in the Hall
Music by Frankie Coulter. Time for singing and dancing. Shared food.

The Synod of Bishops will meet next year to focus on the needs of the Family. In
