The research project composes of two main sections. 1. First section relates to evaluation and examination of video-based web application in the context of interactive and effective e-Learning. 2. Second section relates to evaluate the searching techniques with the help of tags and tags cloud to check its efficiency in data categorization. The system also comprises of some other Web 2.0 tools for enhancing the collaboration and socialization among learners. Tools: SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010 and Dreamweaver. Techniques: AJAX and Object Oriented Programming. Simulation Based Analysis of Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) The main focus on simulation based analysis project is to evaluate and compare the performance of two routing protocols: 1) Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and 2) Destination Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV) in the context of four basic metrics such as Bandwidth, Throughput, Scalability and Packet loss. The impact of AODV and DSDV routing protocols on previously mentioned performance metrics were also analyzed. Tools: NS-2 Techniques: Flexibility in NS-2 has enabled to design simulation scenarios for depicting real time road scenarios.
