The Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students (PHISMETS) through the Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Public Health, Inc. (PASMETH), endeavors to promote the growth and development of all medical technology students by stimulating the exchange of best practices in medical technology through international, national, regional and local conferences, seminar workshops, colloquia, and meetings. In line with this, the PHISMETS through the Student Development Committee of PASMETH will hold its 2nd Annual Medical Technology Student Leadership Training and Strategic Planning on May 12-15, 2011 at the ATI-CAR, Benguet State University Compound, La Trinidad, Benguet with the theme “Enhancing the Roles of Medical Laboratory Science Student Leaders in the Prevention of Drug and Substance Abuse”. This co-curricular activity to be attended primarily by MedTech student leaders shall also promote camaraderie and enhance the students’ leadership competence and proficiency in managing and leading student organizations within the framework of a drug free campus. In this regard, may we invite again your PHISMETS school chapter and local Medical Technology student organization officers to participate in the above-mentioned event. Details include the following: 1.0 The registration fee is three thousand pesos (Php 3,000.00) per participant. This is inclusive of complete meals (breakfast, AM and PM snacks, lunch and dinner) and room accommodation for three days, tour, button ID pins and certificate of attendance. 2.0 Please deposit your registration fees thru the PASMETH Bank Account # 0171-005926-8, Security Bank, UST Branch, UST Main Bldg., Espana, Manila and e-mail scanned copy of your validated deposit slips to bernardrmt2004@yahoo.com and climacool_14@yahoo.com or send the machine validated deposit receipt number to the contact persons given below thru text message on or before May 6, 2011. 3.0 Only those who have confirmed their attendance before the given deadline shall be assured of accommodation.
