As our NikeiD Database Marketing Analyst Intern, you'll enhance Nike's Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), NikeiD Product Creation Initiatives by providing the NikeiD team with knowledge based, and consumer focused insight from Nike's Consumer Marketing Database (CMDB). You'll focus on specific consumer segment and serve as the subject matter expert regarding performance and consumer data for that consumer. You'll develop standard reports that provide Designers, Marketers and Management with consumer specific statistics required to track performance against objectives; and determine what types of recurring access needs are present. You'll also provide ongoing and ad hoc analysis and translation of data to support NikeiD marketing strategic vision and program development/evaluation and evolution; and apply various data modeling techniques to mine the CMDB in identifying trends and data outliers that suggest new marketing opportunities and provide interpretations of data as required. In addition, you'll also participate in monthly and quarterly planning sessions and proactively identify opportunities to improve Nike's Relationship Marketing strategy and programs. Requirements for the position include: Masters of Science, Economics, Quantitative Methods or related field Minimum 2 years' experience in a Database Analyst or similar role (consumer marketing database or related business intelligence reporting) providing insights and recommendations to the business that directly drive the over arching strategy, and ultimately the bottom line Experience in Consumer Database Marketing Analysis or similar role Experience creating custom reports and analysis from data warehouse environments to meet cross functional business requirements Experience with SPSS, Minitab, Brio (creating data models), Business Objects (including using universes), or writing SQL queries is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with Base SAS Strong analytical, analysis and data interpretation in support of direct/relationship marketing strategy development, programs implementation and back-end analysis skills Ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to broader audiences, including development of management presentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and complexity Propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented way Data mining or statistical modeling background is preferred We're interested in learning more about you and appreciate you taking the time to apply online.
