We are pleased to announce this year’s medal winning wines. Following
you will find a list of our BRONZE MEDAL, our SILVER MEDAL, our GOLD
MEDAL and our SUPERLATIVE AWARDS – for the Best of the Best.
Some 1221 wines were judged in 2015. To these 355 Bronze medals were
awarded [ 29.1% * ]. The judges adjudged that 302 of the entries (30
purchased) deserved a Silver Medal [ 24.7% ]. Ultimately, after eight
judging sessions (held both in Canada and in Oregon) and after numerous
appeals (in an effort to make sure that the deserving entries were properly
recognized) the judges granted a total of 114 (7 purchased) Gold Medals
[ 9.33% }. Overall, some 63.2% of the entries* were awarded medals.
* Note that a number of wineries preferred not to have their Bronze medals publicized.
