Luster on p. 80. Then, read “The Village
Blacksmith” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
Create a T-chart listing the characteristics of each
man. Next, create a topic sentence for each image
and list those characteristics you might use in
support of your statements. Compare your list with
your neighbor’s.
Closure: Come up with a consensus definition for
the word “epiphany”. Write your definition on the
board.
