Reminder!!!!!
--Mid Terms will be sent home on Wednesday, February 1, 2013.
--School begins at 7:50 a.m. Any student who comes in after that time should go to
the office to check in and they will be counted tardy. Part of our “Catch you being
Good” program is to recognize those with perfect attendance, which means you
have not missed any days or are not tardy.
--VALENTINE’S DAY-We will have snacks and exchange Valentine’s on Friday,
February 15, 2013.Students will be allowed to hand out Valentine’s to their
classmates but there will not be a formal party. One of our parents has volunteered
pizza and drinks for break on that day. If students want to bring a Valentine’s box,
they are welcome to do so. Floral deliveries are not allowed! Sorry!! Students can
bring a hand held game to be played during our celebration time. My class worked
very hard on the MAP Assessment and needs to be rewarded for their focus and
hard work on those tests. Results will be shared when all the reports are available.
--Continue saving Box Tops for Education!! My class loved their pizza party and we
hope to have another one! Last date to bring box tops will be March 13, 2013.
--Our clothes closet is stocked for the moment however, if you still have clothes you
want to send, feel free to do so.
1. Be sure to continue to study multiplication facts every evening!!! We
have made some great progress. My goal is for every child in my class to
be a math master. We will have a big blow out if we can accomplish that.
