EBM QUESTION
In the patient with a cutaneous basal cell carcinoma, would treatment with
imiquimod 5% cream (Aldara) alone as compared to conventional surgical
interventions lead to the same outcome of treatment in terms of recurrence rates,
completion of treatment, and cosmetic outcome?
