Week of: Sunday, 22 April 2007 - Saturday 28 March 2007 * I called Fox Protective Services’ Orlando Office by phone (407) 851-7252 (the employer against who I am making an unemployment comp claim) and spoke with Keith Osgood. RESULT: He said (implying that since I was making an unemployment comp claim against them), my job application was out of his hands and to call the Tampa office and speak with Judy Clark.MON. * I called Fox Protective Services’ Tampa Office by phone (813) 289-8744 (the employer against who I am making an unemployment comp claim) and got a hold of Judy Clark. RESULT: She asked what hours I could work, and I told her anytime, but they never hired me. This should tell you they were dishonest in their supposed job offers, if after over a year they could not find a local job for me. If you are asking me for my work record, then take my word. If you believe I am not “credible”) (e.g., a liar) as Referee, Rosemary Wild has ruled then do not bother to ask me for my testimony.MON. * I called Dr. Richard Merritt, 1253 W. RESULT: Jessica said they ARE hiring, but the hiring manager is not available at the moment.MON. * The next day, I called back to Dr. Merritt‘s office. RESULT: The hiring manager was still not in.TUE. * Wednesday, the day after this, I called Dr. Merritt’s office back (by phone). RESULT: Ditto. The hiring manager was still not in.WED. * I personally visited Dr. Merritt’s office and inquired about the job opening Jessica mentioned. RESULT: Dr. Merritt said they would fairly consider me for the opening, but I have not as yet gotten hired by his office.FRI. * I personally visited right fuel and spoke with Kathy and Jason. Week of: Sunday, 29 April 2007 - Saturday 05 May 2007 I was sick, plus I was busy trying to help my father clean the house, so I must be honest and confirm I was not available for work. Week of: Sunday, 06 May 2007 - Saturday 12 May 2007 I was still sick, and Dr. Merritt (see above), my family doctor, can confirm I sought medical attention from him during this time period. Although he felt I could work, I was honest and did not claim them, as I did not feel up to it. After 2 weeks of treatment, however, I was healed up and began to search for work. (See below for what happened to stop me.) Week of: Sunday, 13 May 2007 - Saturday 19 May 2007 After I became “healthy,“ my car became “sick” and would not crank due to a defective alarm system. I did not get the car repaired until late in the week, and I decided to be honest and not claim that week. I used the extra time to do some housecleaning and organize my personal belongings in the rare event a job would require me to relocate, a rare, but very difficult enterprise, so even on my “week off,” I worked towards a job. (Organizing would help me to relocate, should a job require it.) Week of: Sunday, 20 May 2007 - Saturday 26 May 2007 * I called Judy Clark of my former employer (see above) about a job. RESULT: I got voice mail.MON. * I called again to Judy Clark of my former employer (see above) about a job. RESULT: I got voice mail.MON. * That Wednesday, I called again to Judy Clark of my former employer (see above) about a job. RESULT: I got voice mail -again.WED. * I called Howard Bass at my former employer (see above) to see if any job opening exist -and to check on a problem with my back pay. RESULT: Fox Protective Services issues a “correction” paycheck eventually, but Howard could not get me back on as an employee. Translation: Not Hiring, not me, anyhow.WED. * I visited right fuel in person. RESULT: The am clerk said not hiring.FRI. * My father suggested I be a medical transcriptionist (to transcribe dictated documents for medical professionals) and “work from home” online, but an online search for such a job (where I could work online, as opposed to going to a doctor‘s office) could not yield any such creature. RESULT: Did not exist, so not hiring.SAT. Week of: Sunday, 27 May 2007 - Saturday 02 June 2007 * Sunday and Monday of this week were Memorial Day and Memorial Day Celebrated. Take off from job search 2 days. * I visited right fuel in person. RESULT: Manager said not hiring.WED. * On Thursday, 31 May, 2007, my father was hospitalized for a stroke, but I bravely continued my job search.THR. * I called USF Research (813-974-5570) and spoke with Eric regarding Job Order 14046, a medical scientist job (for which I’m qualified, with my FSU double major degree) applying as an Associate in Research at the Center for Biological Defense. RESULT: I was referred to Dr. Cattani at 813-974-7789.THR. * I called Dr. Cattani at 813-974-7789 for the USF job above. RESULT: I could only leave a message for Dr. Cattani but I was also referred to www.USF.edu/Jobs THR. * I called Dr. Ferreira (813-974-5797) regarding USA position in Molecular Biology Tech. RESULT: I was referred to someone at 813-745-8343 regarding a job analyzing Western Blots in the Dept of Oncology.THR. * I called the number to which I was referred in prior job search, 813-745-8343. RESULT: The hiring manager was not available, but I left a message.THR. * I called Mr. Bass back at ext. 209, of my former employer, Fox Protective Services, Inc. RESULT: Although he eventually got me a “correction” paycheck cut and sent, at this time, he still had not done so, and he was looking into both possible employment (Translation: A JOB!) -and the back pay issue. So, try as he might, the result was still “not hiring.”FRI. Week of: Sunday, 03 June 2007 - Saturday 09 June 2007 I took time off from my job search to help my father with errands -and to prepare for the worst -such as I had to be prepared to move, if my father could pay rent, and we got kicked out. So, cleaning and organizing also kept me busy, with I helped take care of my sick father, who had just recently been hospitalized for a stroke. Week of: Sunday, 10 June 2007 - Saturday 16 June 2007 Ibid. Week of: Sunday, 17 June 2007 - Saturday 23 June 2007 I was scheduled for a hearing (on Thursday, 21 June 07) with unemployment appeals hearing officer, Rosemary Wild, so I took time off from my job search, lest I get a job and conflict with my appointment. * In spite of this, once the hearing was over, that Thursday, I called Keith Osgood regarding the job offer that Brian Fox had offered me in his letter to Grisele X. Robaina. I accepted the job offer, as soon as I heard about it, but Keith withdrew the job offer, saying he was ordered to do so. He gave a 2nd excuse, saying something about the chain-ofcommand preventing him, since I had spoken to his boss. RESULT: No job exists, that is, “not hiring,” at least not hiring me.THR. Week of: Sunday, 24 June 2007 - Saturday 30 June 2007 * I call Brian Fox and ask him why he withdrew his job offer. RESULT: He said the job offer was many months old. Since he did not notify me of the so-called “offer” back when it existed, “it amounted to no job offer at all,” as my lawyer might say. No job exists, that is, “not hiring,” at least not hiring me. However, Brian Fox said he would “sleep on it,” or words to that effect, and think it over.MON. * I called Anchor Security (863-401-3686) at 201 Magnolia Ave. West, Suite 9, Winter haven , FL. RESULT: Not hiring.THR. * I responded to a “work at home” want ad by calling 1-800-985-5032, which also listed http://www.JacksonEnterprisellc.com RESULT: I spoke to Dale, but after talking, it became apparent that this was merely an illegal Ponzi (or pyramid) scheme where the only thing I get was the right or privilege to call others and solicit money.FRI. Week of: Sunday, 01 July 2007 - Saturday 07 June 2007 * I responded to a “work at home” want ad (source: TheFlyer.com, June 27 issue for area 104, p.26, bottom left of page) for Data Entry by calling 1-800-344-9636, ext. 950. RESULT: I could not get an operator, but I left a message.MON. * Same want ad paper, column 2, “home work” - I call 1-863-595-6708. RESULT: I got answering machine, and greeting was by an “Ayana,” and I left a message.MON. * Same want ad paper - I see ad for Mail Order & Internet “work at home” - I call 1-800-210-3006, which listed www.TheHomeIncomeSolution.com RESULT: I got an ambiguous voice mail greeting, which asked I leave a message for an info packet. I got a letter from them on Thursday, the 5th, from “The Home Income Solution” at 10064 Magnolia Bend, Bonita Springs, FL 34135 - TheHomeIncomeSolution.com, offering a more detailed free information pack, asking to “Call Me At” 239-390-0918 (Herbal Life, International) - From $300.oo to $3,500.oo capitol is required to but health supplements - Not a part-time at home job, but a door-to-door job, requiring me to buy products for resale. So, it was not a job where you could simply apply to work.MON. * Same paper had ad about Home-based business - Asked me to leave name & number at 1-800-807-5175. Have not heard back from them -and probably don’t want to, as it sounds like scam where you pay up a lot up front.MON. * I visited right fuel, and I asked the owner, Harry, for a job. RESULT: Minister RL said he didn’t know of any job openings, but Frank Clark was not in, so I planned to call back.WED. * I visited WWAB-1330-AM again, and, after doing the Saturday radio program for my old church, I spoke with Frank Clark. RESULT: Frank Clark is finally in, and, although he doesn’t have any hourly jobs available, he gives me the name and number of the owner, Mr. Hugh Hughes: 863-521-2207, and suggests a good time to call back would be around 10 AM Monday morning.SAT.
