Deferred Payment Plan (DPP)
Overview
The UC Davis Deferred Payment Plan (DPP) allows for eligible tuition and fees to be paid in monthly
installments due by the 15th of each month. Students or their authorized users can self-enroll in DPP at
http://mybill.ucdavis.edu.
Only students who owe at least $150 in tuition and qualifying fees after all discounts, financial aid, and
other credits have been applied to their account can choose to defer payment.
A non-refundable application fee applies to participate in DPP.

For Quarter Students:
Self-enrollment in the plan is available until fee payment deadlines each quarter. Students will pay
tuition and fees in three equal installments.
Students can choose to enroll in DPP each quarter or at the beginning of the academic year by choosing
the Annual DPP. If you choose the annual plan you will be automatically enrolled each quarter during
the academic year.

How to Enroll in DPP:
To self-enroll in DPP, students or their authorized user must follow these steps:

Log into MyBill website: http://mybill.ucdavis.edu
Select the Payment Plans tab
The interface will guides you step-by-step through the enrollment process
Enroll in the deferred payment plan and sign the agreement online
If you receive additional credits in your account
Your plan will be adjusted and the credits will be applied equally across the outstanding installments.
Whenever your plan amounts change you will receive an email notification of the changes.
If you receive any type of financial awards or loans, the funds will be used to pay registration fees even if
the account is on the installment plan.
If you withdraw from classes
You might still have payments due. Adjustments to your payments will be made based on your
withdrawal date and the University Refund Schedule
Refunds are only issued to students if the adjusted amount they owe is less than what they have already
paid. Students cannot receive refunds until all fees on the student account are paid in full.
Late fees and penalties
Students who miss a payment deadline will be charged a $10 late fee per installment.
Additional Information
Under the deferred payment plan, prior-term balances, plus plan application fee and non-deferrable
charges must be paid in addition to the first installment in order to avoid Drop for Non-Payment
process.
You will not be fully enrolled in the Deferred Payment Plan until the first payment is received.
Subsequent installment amounts will be included in the “Amount Due” figure listed on the monthly
billing statement.
If the installment payments are not credited to the account by the due date, the following may occur:





Your account will be assessed a late fee
A block may be placed on your transcript, diploma and registration for future terms
You may be dropped from your scheduled classes
You will not be able to register for future terms
Other collection actions as determined by the University
