Mrs Alexander Hay
The death of Frances D., beloved wife of Alexander Hay, occurred at her home on the Valley

February 22, 1852, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs David Dunlop of Upper Caverhill, York

April 9th 1873.
Of this union six children were born, four of whom survive, Mrs Alex Kyle of Calais, Mrs
Frank Ham of Lewiston, Mrs Alfred Thomas of St. Stephen and Frederick B. at home. Seventeen
grandchildren and one brother, Simpson C. Dunlop of Skowhegan, Me., also survive her.
She had been in failing health for some months and all that loving hands could do could not
prolong her life and she passed peacefully away.

manifest in the home and all with whom she was associated.
The funeral service was held at her home Friday last by Rev. Dr. W. C. Gorcher, assisted by
Rev. W. W. Malcolm, interment being made in the St. Stephen Cemetery. The funeral was
largely attended. To the aged husband and other sorrowing ones general sympathy is extended.
