a.
Everyone is a “Toaster” – each member has the responsibility to distribute resources,
and facilitate ecological projects
b.
“Mashers”- a one year assignment, each Masher is in charge of a folder of resources
(Camps, Media, Teaching, NGOs) and is responsible for sorting through materials
labeling correctly and adding any new materials, Then updating the Webmaster
c.
Google site – Under which is each googlegroup for our folders
Current Projects Reporting

PC Times- Nick emailed, waiting to hear back. The idea was to use it for sharing
information and advertising successful projects
b.
Mission Statement Revision (Mary) – Done
c.
Facebook – Updated, needs a new administrator
d.
Bkontakti- very successful, most kids from camps are on it now
e.
Russian Campbook (Nastya)- will be done by November
f.
Ukrainian Campbook (Nick)- needs to find on the googlegroup
g.
Recycling Survey – Each member needs to continue searching
h.
Filter Report – success! 36ers who heard the information have bought water filters

Digest updates- success keep going with it (Outreach)

“Unplugging Report” Gretchen submitted to Worldview waiting for a reply

Art Miles Project (Amber)- Success in her town

10X10 Mural costs 100 UAH, not difficult to get permission to post a mural

New Ideas
a.
Megan – There is a company in Paraguay which used methane gas from landfills and
sold it to pay for the trash pick-ups, keep researching (Projects Task Force in
Future)
b.
Mary – Battery Recycling: Motorola takes batteries and chargers from old phones
(find for Nokia) Ideas for battery drives in communities (Projects Task Force)
c.
Ed- Chemical Water Analysis --- Need a Task Force for bigger projects

Now allotted time for new “Project Task Force” which will run
simultaneously with Resources at 14:00

Bethany – Camp IKNOW Brochure to be explain to parents what our camp is
(Outreach)

Catherine – Need to make Ukrainian Language materials easier to find (Resources)

Nick – Football Tournament October 10 for Fundraising 15-20 UAH/person

Mary- Book Donation for Environmental Resources (Resources)

We need a better way to explain to parents what Camp IKNOW is

of overseeing and updating the website. The Mashers will send any new resources or
posts to the Webmaster to link on the site

roster
