This student learned about careers in broadcasting by observing one of our News Producers. 9 Internship Program From September 2012 through February 2013, WHAS-TV hosted a student from Bellarmine University for an internship. The student learned about and experienced careers in broadcasting by assisting with the preparation of daily rundowns, accompanying sports anchors/reporters in the field, and timing sports segments under the supervision of our Sports Anchor/Director. One student learned about careers in broadcasting by observing our Director of Creative Services and the staff in our Commercial Production Department while the other observed one of our Sports Anchors. 11 Participate in job fair On October 18, 2012, WHAS-TV participated in Indiana University Southeast’s Job Fair in the Student Career Development Center in New Albany, IN.
