Unless otherwise specified in the context, commodity items of this group include only the following: a) individual organic compounds of definite chemical composition, containing or not containing impurities; b) mixtures of one or more isomers of one and the same organic compound (containing or free of impurities), except mixtures of isomers of acyclic carbohydrates (not stereoisomers), saturated or un-saturated (group 27); c) products of commodity items 2936 - 2939 or simple sugar oxydes, sugar acetals, complex) sugar oxydes and their salts under commodity item 2940 or products under commodity item 2941 of definite or indefinite chemical composition; d) water-dissolved products, specified in items (a), (b) or (c); e) products specified above in items (a), (b) or (c), dissolved in other solutions on condition that their dissolution presents a condition standard and necessary for their preservation and transportation, thereby prohibiting their usage for purposes other than traditional; f) products, specified above in items (a), (b), (c), (d) or (e), admixed with a stabilizing agent (including cakingprevention agent), required for their preservation and transportation; g) products, specified above in items (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) or (f ), admixed with a dust-preventive or a coloring agent, or odorous matter for facilitation of their idenification or for safety purposes, with preservation of properties of these products, thereby, prohibiting their utilization for purposes other than standard; h) the following products, dissolved to standard concentration, for the purpose of production of azoic dyes: salts of diazonium salt, substences, reacting with these salts, diazotizing amines and ther salts. 2. This group is exclusive of the following: a) products under commodity item 1504 or crude glycerin under commodity item 1520; b) ethyl hydroxide (commodity item 2207 or 2208); c) methane or propane (commodity item 2711); d) carbon compound, specified in notice 2 of group 28; e) carbamide (commodity item 3102 or 3105); f) coloring agents of phynogenic or zoogenic nature (commodity item 3203), synthetic organic coloring matters, synthetic organic products, utilized as optical bleaching agents or as luminophores (commodity item 3204), or dyes or other coloring substences, prepacked in forms or packages for retail distribution (commodity item 3212); g) enzymes (commodity item 3507); h) metaldehyde, hexamethylene tetramine or similar substences, prepacked in forms (for example, tablets, rods or similar forms), intended for usage as fuels, liquid or condensed gas fuel in containers with capacity up to 300 sm3, used for fuelling or re-fuelling of cigarette or similar lighter (commodity item 3606); and) products, supplied as charges of fire extinguishers or fire-fighting grenades, commodity item 3813; compositions for ink-spot removal, prepacked for retail distribution, commodity item 3824; or i) optical elements, for example, made of ethylene diamine tartrate (commodity item 9001). 3. Commodities, which can brought under two or more commodity items of this group, are included into a commodity item, which is the last in the increasing order of codes in this group of the Nomenclature. 4. In commodity items 2904 - 2906, 2908 - 2911 and 2913 - 2920 any reference to halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives is related to compounded derivatives such as sulphohalogenated, nitrohalogenated, nitrosulphonated or nitrosulphohalogenated. In commodity item 2929 nitro- or nitrogen oxide radicals are not considered as nitrogen-containing substences of functional groups. In commodity items 2911, 2912, 2914, 2918 and 2922 the term "oxygen-containing functional group" is related only to those functional groups (characteristical organic oxygen-containing groups), which are specified in commodity items 2905 - 2920. 5a. Esters of organic compounds with acid functional groups of sub-groups I - VII with organic compounds of the same sub-groups must be admixed with one of them, which is included into commodity item being the last one in the increasing order of codes in these sub-groups of the Nomenclature. 5b. Esters of ethyl alcohol with organic compounds and acid functional groups of sub-groups I - VII must be included into the same commodity items as for respective organic compounds with acid functional groups. 5c. Subject to provisions of notice 1 of section VI and of notice 2 of group 28: 1) inorganic salts of organic compounds such as compounds of acid, phenolic or enolic functional groups, or organic bases, included into sub-groups I - X or into commodity item 2942, must be brought under commodity items, intended for organic compounds; and 2) salts, produced as a result of chemical reactions between organic compounds, included into sub-groups I - X or into commodity item 2942, must be brought under a commodity item, intended for base or acid (including compounds of phenolic or enolic functional groups), which generate these salts, the last in the increasing order of codes in this group. 5d. Alkoxides of metals must be included into the same commodity item as respective alcohols, excluding fermentation alcohol (commodity item 2905). 5e. Halogenanhydrides of carboxilic acids must be included into the same commodity item as respective acids. 6. Compounds, considered in commodity items 2930 and 2931, represent organic compounds, which molecules apart from atoms of hydrogen, oxygen or nitrogen, contain atoms of other nonmetal or metals (such as sulphur, arsenium, mercury or lead), directly related to atoms of hydrogen. Commodity items 2930 (organic sulphur compounds) and 2931 (other organic-inorganic compounds) do not include sulphonated or halogenated derivatives (including complex derivatives), which with exception of hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen have atoms of sulphur or halogen directlly related to hydrogen and attaching them porperties of sulphonated or halogenated derivatives (or complex derivatives). 7. Commodity items 2932 - 2934 do not include epoxides with triatomic ring, cetone peroxides, cyclic polymers of aldehydes or of thioaldehydes, anhydrides of polybasic carboxilic acids, cyclic esters of polyalcohols or phenols with polybasic acids or imides of polybasic acids. These provisions are applicable only subject to forming of cycles with heteroatoms as a result of cyclization reaction or as a result of the reactions mentioned above . 8. In commodity item 2937: a) the term "hormones" applies to releasing-hormones or factors, stimulating secretion of hormones, inhibitors of hormones and anti-hormones; b) the term "used, primarily, as hormones" applies not only to derivatives of hormones and their structural analogues, used mainly for the purpose of hormonal influence, but to such derivatives and structural analogues, which are used mainly as intermediate products in synthesis of substances under this commodity item.
