my account current. A Beka Academy, Inc., reserves the right to deny enrollment
to any student who does not meet admission requirements. A Beka Academy is
not available to residents of Pensacola, FL, and the immediate surrounding area. I
understand that A Beka Academy, Inc., does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, or national origin. I understand it is my responsibility to meet all applicable
local and state homeschool requirements and I acknowledge my responsibility
to select the course of study (K–12) needed to meet any applicable homeschool
graduation requirements in my state. It is my responsibility to contact my local
school district to determine if there are any additional requirements in my state
for children who are homeschooling. I understand that accreditation is a voluntary
process which verifies that A Beka Academy meets reliable education standards.
However, it does not guarantee the acceptance of credits since each institution or
state creates its own policies of credit transfer. Some schools may require additional
validation of academic achievement. (I confirm that I understand and am responsible
for complying with the contents of the A Beka Academy, Inc., Virtual Homeschool
Enrollment and Academic Terms and Conditions and specifically the policies
regarding academics, cancellations, and late DVDs.) I understand that the instructional videos remain the unconditional property of A Beka Academy, Inc., and that
A Beka Academy shall retain all right, title, and interest, including without limitation
all intellectual property rights, in and to the videos. I shall not copy, modify, license,

reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the videos. I understand that the
materials on the videos are only for the use of the above-identified student during
the term that the student is enrolled and only for purposes associated with the A
Beka Academy course of study, and such materials may not be retained or further
disseminated in any format. Other than the limited right to use the videos for the
express purposes herein, no rights of any nature, express or implied, are granted
in the videos or their content. I agree not to sell, lend, or duplicate the video
content or allow another child to view any portion of the videos on a regular basis
and I agree that the right to use this program is not transferable. I understand that
DVDs must be returned to A Beka Academy, Inc., and if all DVDs are not returned
before my assigned end date, I will be charged a $400 late fee DVD return fee.
Delinquent accounts will not be eligible for the payment plan option on future
enrollments. Prices are subject to change without notice. Books are the unconditional property of the user and cannot be returned for credit. If return is made,
credit will not be issued, nor return made to sender. A Beka Academy, Inc., is not
liable for damage to a customer’s equipment. This agreement is governed by the
laws of Florida. This agreement does not become effective until accepted by an

A Beka Academy (ABA) Information
Complete Materials Includes video manuals and progress reports for record keeping, test/quiz books and keys, as well as all student
textbooks and keys necessary for use with the videos.
Basic Materials Includes video manuals and progress reports for record keeping, as well as all test/quiz books and keys. (Student
workbooks are not included.)
Same Grade A discounted rate is available for those enrolling two or more children grades 1–12 within the same immediate family (same legal
guardian) simultaneously into the same grade and courses. The first student will enroll at full price. The second student will pay the reduced same
grade price and share the videos with the first student. Same grade rate cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Subject Combination grades 1–6 option available only via streaming with the Independent Study Program that allows the student to
view just the Language Arts and Bible courses or the Arithmetic, Science, History, and Bible courses.
Homeschool Requirements Contact your local school district or homeschool authority to ensure compliance with academic standards,
health/immunization records, and attendance requirements.
Full Grade Enrollment Grades 7–12 full grade enrollments consist of 2.5 to 6 credits worth of courses. If an additional course is desired,
a 7th credit can be added to the enrollment for additional fee due at time of enrollment. (See application for cost.)

General Terms
Shipping
• All orders are subject to approval of the ABA Office.
• Prices and fees are subject to change without notice.
• All payments are considered past due if not received by
the due date. A $20 late fee will be issued and streaming services and DVD shipments will be stopped. Student
work for the Accredited Program will not be evaluated
until the past-due amount and fees are resolved.
• Late payments and late DVD returns may prevent the use
of the payment plan for future enrollments.
• Statements may be viewed online. Paper copies are available upon request. Select the paper copy option on the
enrollment application to request statements by mail.
• All enrollments are subject to current local taxes based on each
state’s laws. Sales tax is determined based on the book kit
value for each grade level (or full program cost if in TN or FL).

Begin Date
• Preferred begin date to start your school year is chosen by
the parent (subject to office approval). Application should
be submitted at least 3 weeks before your desired begin
date to ensure materials are received. If a student is unable
to begin by the assigned begin date, contact the ABA
Office within 30 days of the originally assigned begin date
to have a new begin date assigned.
•Begin dates may not be changed once the student has
begun using the program. Begin date changes will not
change the due date of the first payment.
• The end date is 12 months from the assigned begin date.

•Payment for Payment in Full pricing option is due with
enrollment application.
• Payment Plan is available for K5–grade 12 full grade enrollments.
• Payment plan consists of $350 down payment due with enrollment application as well as six monthly payments due on the
first of each month following the originally assigned begin date.

at no cost. Shipments to APO-FPO addresses are sent

DVDs
• A full year enrollment consists of 3 sets of DVDs sent over
the course of your school year. (You will receive a welcome
letter containing the DVD shipment schedule once you are
enrolled.) Set 1 must be returned after viewing before Set
3 will be released.
• All DVDs must be returned by the customer’s assigned end
date. Failure to return DVDs by the end date will result in
a $400 Late Return Fee, and the customer may not be eligible to use the Payment Plan for future enrollments.
Extensions
•For your convenience, if DVDs are not returned by end
date we will add a one month extension. Extensions can
be given for up to 6 months. The charges below will be
added to your account and shown on your monthly statement.

DVD Returns
• DVDs are the unconditional property of ABA and must be
returned. DVDs may be returned using our pre-paid return
service labels that are available online. If you do not have
Internet access, contact the ABA Office for assistance in

returning DVDs. Cost of returning DVDs by any other method
is the customer’s responsibility. ABA is not responsible for
any loss or damages incurred in return shipments when using
any other method than the ABA pre-paid return labels. Packages returned C.O.D. will be returned to sender.
Cancellations
•If you must cancel the program, please contact the
ABA Office immediately. You are responsible for all program charges and monthly fees until you receive a cancellation confirmation number.
Within 30 days
•There is a 30 day money-back guarantee on all enrollments
from the assigned begin date. If you are not completely satisfied, return all materials. ABA will not issue credit for partial
returns and will not return materials to you.
• If all materials are received in new, unused condition, a full
refund (less shipping) will be issued.
• If any materials are marked or damaged, a full refund will be
issued less a $60 Processing Fee and shipping.
Between 30 and 90 days
•For cancellations after 30 days from assigned begin date,
ABA will issue a full refund less book kit value, prorated tuition, tax, and shipping upon receipt of all outstanding DVDs
or termination of video streaming.
• Books are the unconditional property of the user and cannot
be returned for credit.
• Tuition will be prorated for the time enrolled up to 90 days.
No refund will be issued for cancellations after 90 days.
Academic Terms and Conditions
Course Requirements
• Students enrolling in ABA must be proficient in the English
language.
•In order to properly complete the course, the student will
need all of the material listed in the Complete Materials
option. If not purchasing the Complete Materials, please
check order numbers carefully to ensure you have the current
editions. (See Materials List pp. 14–29.)
•Alterations cannot be made to academic requirements for
any course. All subjects must be attempted in order for students to continue in the Accredited Program.
• Bible is a required course and must be completed in order to
continue in the Accredited Program.
•Only students with a documented “A” average in grade 7
math may take Algebra 1 in grade 8.
• Keyboarding and Document Processing require the use of a
computer and a printer.
• Progress Reports, along with all tests and exams and other
specified course requirements must be received in the
ABA Office in order to validate student work and issue credit.
• Accredited students are required to watch all video lessons for
all courses in which the student is enrolled unless that course
is not offered by video.
• Students enrolled with ABA may take up to two courses from
another school if those courses are not currently offered by
ABA. Credit is accepted upon receiving an official high school
transcript showing credit earned for the course. Dual enrollment credits on college transcripts will not be accepted.
• ABA is unable to provide an accredited special needs program. If the Accredited Program requirements cannot be
met, the student may enroll in the Independent Study Program.
• Students may complete a full grade course in 6–12 months.
Exceptions are not available for the minimum 6-month time

Switching/Adding
• The following applies to switching and adding courses for
both Accredited and Independent Study programs:
uA $25 fee plus applicable materials deposit will be assessed
to switch or add courses within 30 days of the assigned
begin date.
uA $50 fee plus applicable materials deposit will be assessed
to switch or add courses within 31-60 days of the assigned
begin date.
uSwitching/Adding courses is not available after 60 days
from the assigned begin date.
•Materials deposit will be forfeited if materials are not
returned within 30 days after requesting a switch.
• Media switches as well as switching to the Accredited Program will be charged a $25 switch fee. Media switches
will be prorated based on the time used.

Transcripts
• Each student may receive one transcript copy per year free
of charge. Additional copies are available for $5.
•At least one semester of work must be completed with
ABA before a transcript is available.
• Transcripts are considered official only when sent directly to
another institution.
Graduating Seniors
• If the student enrolling attended a school or was homeschooled through any method other than ABA’s Accredited
Program the previous year, a transcript is required. Enrollments for second semester grade 9 or full grades 10–12 will
require a transcript to be received and evaluated before the
application may be processed. The transcript request form
found on page 9 may be used to request transcripts for the
previous school.
•Students who were homeschooled should complete the
appropriate Homeschool Proof of Completion (See pp. 7–8.)
•Please understand that the courses selected may change
based on the evaluation of previous transcripts to ensure
that the student will be enrolled in the proper classes. You
will be contacted once the transcript is evaluated if any of
the courses selected need to be changed.
•Students in grades 4–11 may re-enroll for the next year
once the current year’s work is completed through the third
grading period. (K5 through grade 3 must have completed
through the fourth grading period to reenroll.) Applications
submitted before this time will be held by the ABA Office
until this requirement is met.
Student Work
• ABA students are expected to do their own work and
should be supervised during all quizzes and tests. Students
should never have access to test and quiz answer keys. All
written work is checked for plagiarism.
• All student work should be kept current to ensure academic
progress. If student work is not received within two weeks
after the end of each grading period as indicated on the
academic calendar, a $50 late charge is assessed before the
work may be evaluated.
•All student work submitted becomes the unconditional
property of ABA.
• Students may request that a decision affecting their academic
standing be reconsidered by contacting the ABA academic
office. The Academic Committee will review the situation and
determine whether the decision in question should stand. The
decision of the Academic Committee is final.
Enroll by phone
• All seniors planning to graduate with ABA will be charged a
$15 diploma fee due with enrollment.
• Students must complete a total of 24 credits, which includes
a minimum of 4 credits with ABA in grade 12.
• Diplomas will be mailed once all video lessons have been
watched and all course work is successfully completed.
Diplomas are withheld pending return of outstanding DVDs
and payment of account in full.
• Class rank is based on the weighted Grade Point Average
and includes all seniors who graduated between June 1 and
May 31.
• College-bound students are required to take the ACT or SAT.
Register using ABA’s high school code 101388.
Accredited A Beka Academy seniors are
invited to attend a special graduation
weekend.
Eligibility requirements
• Begin grade 12 no later than November 17, 2014.
• All coursework progress reports and Petition to March must
be in the ABA Office by April 1, 2015.
