Bamboo fiber from the bamboo
plant is produced in China. It has a
soft hand and is naturally antibacterial. The fiber is regenerated from
raw bamboo pulp. Bamboo is durable with good breathability and
comfort characteristics. Its
microporous cross section allows
for good wicking of perspiration
and good absorption of dyes. It is
used for sweaters, toweling, blankets, T-shirts, socks, lightweight
blouses and shirts, wallpaper, and
curtains.
