Summer Holidays Project – Mathematics
Collect data from your family and friends using the following criteria:
• Survey the people on their favourite T.V channels. Each person should pick one favourite channel.
• Classify the channel into categories, for example, news channel, music channel, cartoon channel, movie channel, sports channel, etc.
• Draw a bar graph for the collected data using a graph paper.
• Express the result of survey infractions.( for e.g. Fraction of people who like news channel= 3 / 20)
• Convert the result of survey into percentage. (For e.g. Percentage of people who like news channel= 3/20 X 100% =15 %)
(Hint: Try and collect data from at least 20 people for the survey.)
