PINOCCHIO TOUR
The Pinocchio Park could not have been set up anywhere else but in Collodi,
where the ancient village has remained as it was hundreds of years ago, a
cascade oh houses that ends behind Villa Garzoni and its scenographic
garden. It was here that Carlo Lorenzini’s (in art Carlo Collodi author of
“Adventures of Pinocchio”) mother was born and here that he spent his
childhood with his grandparents. Pinocchio Park is not an ordinary theme
park, but rather and evocative precious masterpiece created by great artists
working together where we can retrace a tale that comes to life through the
encounter between the images expressed in the language of art and the
visitor’s own imagination.
Pinocchio’s half day tour
Departure from Bagni di Pisa (time to be confirmed upon season).
Meeting with our driver/tour leader and proceed to Collodi. The small country
town where Carlo Collodi (author of Pinocchio) was born and lived. Visit the
beautiful Pinocchio park, where the dense vegetation hide at every step an
unexpected surprise, artists work feature the story of Adventures of Pinocchio
with the plants and trees contributing to create the atmosphere. Then visit the
historical garden of Villa Garzoni and its Butterfly garden housing a lush
tropical garden with nearly a thousand butterflies from all over the world.
We then head back on to the hotel.
