MEADOWGLEN HAT POLICY
All students MUST wear a Meadowglen hat when
they are outside at recess, lunchtime, at sport or on an
excursion during Term 4.
No other hats are accepted.
Hats are available to purchase from the school office.

We have six school days before the end of term 3. I draw your attention to a number of
important things:

If your child is absent from school, for legal purposes we require an approved note. Did
you know you can do this via the school app? Go into Parent eForms, select Absentee
Note, complete the details, then submit. Your ‘absentee note’ arrives via email to our
school mailbox. We print it off and retain a hardcopy for ten years as required by law.

We still have a number of boxes of chocolates that have not been sold. Next term a note
will be included in the newsletter. If you feel you can help us out, then let the office know
and they will provide you with a box. Our fundraising target is $16000 to cover the cost
of the sandpit and dry creek bed. We are almost there, thanks to generosity of our
parent community!!

Beginning term 4, all students are required to wear a hat. You know our rule: NO HAT NO
PLAY! Please help us by ensuring your child has an official Meadowglen hat.

Please ensure your child wears full school uniform, all the time. We don’t mind if
windcheaters and polo shirts do not have logos. We do mind if they are the wrong colour!

Please arrive on time, that is, before the 9am bell. Those of you who are in the school
grounds early will know that I send all students into their rooms by 8.55am. This ensures
they are organised and ready to start learning when the bell rings.

GRADE 5 PHILIP ISLAND DISCOVERY CAMP
All payments for the Grade 5 camp MUST be finalised by Friday 19
September, 2014.
