2. What does my child need to bring to camp each day?
Your child will need a healthy snack each day. Please drop off their snacks outside
of the classroom each morning at check in. DUE TO TWO SEVERE PEANUT
ALLERGIES PLEASE DO NOT SEND SNACKS WITH PEANUTS TO SPANISH
CAMP. OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IS TO KEEP CHILDREN SAFE DURING
CAMP...PLEASE HELP US BY CHOOSING ALTERNATIVE SNACKS FOR YOUR
CHILD DURING THESE THREE WEEKS. THANK YOU. Should you child forget
his or her snack we will make sure they get a back-up snack and water at camp.
3. What should my child wear to camp?
Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes. Flip flops and open toe shoes will
not be allowed and are unsafe on the playground. At times the classroom may get
cool. If your child is sensitive to A/C you may want to pack a light sweater. Please
apply sun block at home each day. We will have non-toxic/organic sun block for
children in the classroom in case you forget.
4. Where do I drop off and pick up my child?
Each day camp students will enter and exit via the YELLOW gates that face West.
The gates are right next to the entrance of Rainbow River/Wiseburn Child
Development Center. On the first day of camp please enter the gates and proceed
to the benches right outside of the classroom #19 for check in. Each day you will
be asked to sign in and out your child.
5. Can I stay and volunteer or observe camp?
Yes!! We have an open door policy....however the gates are closed as it is a closed
campus so please inform Irma if you wish to stay and volunteer or are returning
early or if someone will be picking up your child early! We love to have parents in
our classes! Especially on the first day of camp...please feel free to stay in the
class as long as you want.

up my child early or if I’m going to be late?

8. How will I know what my child is doing in camp and how I can help him or
her with the language aquisition?
We will be sending private emailed pictures and texting photos of your child to
your cell/email address. You will also get updates throughout the week and a weekly
