GREAT WOLF LODGE NIAGARA FALLS WINS CANADIAN HUMAN RESOURCES AWARD Great Wolf Lodge wins Best Employee Engagement Strategy against top level competition at the 2015 Canadian Human Resources Awards Niagara Falls, ON – October 23, 2015 – Great Wolf Lodge has been awarded the 2015 Canadian Human Resources Best Employee Engagement Strategy Award. More than 600 of Canada’s most talented HR leaders gathered on the evening of September 17, 2015 to celebrate the achievements of the industry’s best innovators. Sponsored by KPMG, the gala evening saw 19 awards handed out at Toronto’s historic Liberty Grand. Those tributes spanned the breadth and scope of the industry from individual commendations to company-wide honours. The second-annual black-tie ceremony is dubbed the “Oscars of the HR space”. The final selection in each category was the result of an exhaustive adjudication process, with the judging panel vetting hundreds of nominations before extending final nods. Great Wolf Lodge, General Manager Keith Simmonds noted that the Lodge had received two nominations in 2014 for Best Strategic Plan and Best Employee Engagement Strategy, so it was wonderful to return and receive top honours. He remarked “To be acknowledged among such high profile companies is a true achievement for a stand-alone company in the hotel and attraction industry and we are delighted”.
