What to expect…
Friday, October 7th - Welcome Reception/Dinner/Silent Auction - Enjoy great food, good company and
do some early holiday shopping (online prior to the meeting) and at the Silent Auction. See next page for
important details about online bidding prior to the Annual Meeting. An important aspect of the VRMA
Annual Meeting is the fundraising event for its political action committee (VARPAC). Funds from the PAC
are used to help elect retail friendly state legislators. Meet and greet the VRMA Legislator of the Year
during the reception/dinner/silent auction. (Casual attire)
Saturday, October 8th - Morning - Attend a sit down breakfast just prior to the Annual Membership
Meeting. Open to all members and their guest(s). Hear speakers on issues of importance to retail. (Casual
attire)
Afternoon - What a great oppotunity for you and your familiy and/or friends to visit Richmond. Richmond
falls are typically picture perfect with colorful foilage and warm daytime temperatures. (Let us know if we
can help you plan the afternoon.)

Take Interstate 64 West to Interstate 95 North. Take Exit
79 to the Charlottesville/Interstate -64 West Exit. Exit
Broad Street East (Exit 183B). Turn right at the first light
into the hotel entrance.
From North
Proceed along Interstate 95 South to Interstate 64 West
(Exit 79). Do not take the Interstate 295 Bypass. Exit
Broad Street East (Exit 183B). Turn right at the first traffic
light into the hotel entrance.
From West
Proceed along Interstate 64 East and take the Broad
Street Exit 183. Turn right at the first traffic light into the
hotel entrance.
From South
Proceed along Interstate 95 North to Interstate 64 West
(Exit 79). Do not take the Interstate 295 Bypass. Exit
