When your application is received, we will establish a file on you in which we will retain personal information about you that we collect as described below. This
information will be used and retained for the following purposes: (1) to evaluate your credit and employment history and to properly administer your account should you
execute a contract for purchase or lease if such contract is assigned to us; (2) to assist in any collection activity on such account; if necessary; (3) to determine the
suitability of and your eligibility for our products and services; (4) to provide you with ongoing service under any contracts you may enter into with us or our affiliates;
(5) to offer you products and services that we determine are best-suited to your needs and preferences; and (6) to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
We will consult a credit reporting agency to determine the suitability of your application. In addition, we may, from time to time, during the course of our financial
relationship with you, collect personal information about you from credit reporting agencies, credit bureaus and others.
Only GMAC employees and service providers whose job functions include customer service, credit evaluation, collection of accounts and customer program
development and implementation will have access to the information contained in your file during the time it is maintained by us.
As a consumer you have the right to access the file that we have established on you as outlined in this credit application. You are entitled to have information in your
file amended to make sure it is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You are also entitled to gain access to any credit reports that we may have obtained in assessing your
credit and to have the information contained in the report rectified should it contain any inaccurate or incomplete information. To find out how and where you can
access your GMAC file or how to contact the credit reporting agency that provided a report on you, please visit our website at www.gmcanada.com or call us at our
Customer Service Centre at 1-800-616-4622.
We may assign all or any of our rights under any contracts with you to any of our affiliates. We (or such affiliates) may assign, transfer, sell, pledge or otherwise
encumber or dispose of any whole or partial interest in these rights, without further notice to you, to a third party as part of the ongoing process of financing our business.
Furthermore, any such third party may, under such circumstances appoint a servicer to collect and remit payments and to provide other services. Any servicer so
appointed will use and retain the personal information about you for the purpose of providing its services in connection with your contracts with GMAC and its affiliates
and to meet regulatory requirements.
We may share the personal information collected from you and about you with credit bureaus and reporting agencies, credit insurers, registries, companies and persons
affiliated or associated with us, including but not limited to General Motors of Canada Limited and its authorized dealers, any assignees of your contract, any servicer
appointed by an assignee of your contract, any other entity with whom you have or are proposing to have a financial relationship and any other non-affiliated party as
permitted by law. GMAC may share such information with these parties for the following purposes: (1) to promote a business relationship with you; (2) to service your
contract and (3) to meet legal and regulatory requirements. You acknowledge that in the event that a service provider is located in the United States, information may be
processed and stored in that country and that its governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies may be able to obtain disclosure of your information
through the laws of that country.
By signing this application, you acknowledge GMAC may provide the information contained in this application including your name, address, phone number and
account information to:

VFC Inc. or other alternate finance source for the purpose of (1) evaluating your credit and solvency, and (2) making a decision with regard to the possible
execution of an agreement with you for the financing of a purchase of a motor vehicle. You agree that the consents and authorizations that provided herein extend
to and include VFC Inc. or alternate finance source and you specifically acknowledge that VFC Inc. is a service provider which will have access to the information
in your file, and may use and retain the information for the purposes outlined for GMAC.
