Course Lookup will automatically select “Open” classes as the default. Transfer Credits If you have credits to transfer, make sure your official transcripts have been sent into the Records Office. If you are thinking about taking a class, make sure you fill out a Transfer Credit Pre-approval form with your advisor. Degree audits Remember you are responsible for knowing what is on your degree plan, however… Stop by and see your advisor at least once a semester to update your degree plan and make sure you are on the right track. Students with 75 credit hrs accumulated will be required to see their advisor before registration. Degree plan changes You will be locked into the catalog year and degree plan determined by the date you began taking classes at UTD. Teacher Certification All Teacher Certification students should make an appointment with their certification advisor in Teacher Development (in addition to meeting with their academic advisor) once a semester for certification requirement updates (972-883-2730).
