(Ref: PC-ODI) This position is expected to continue through June 30, 2012.
Summary: The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing 1 of the 5 strategic
imperatives of the diversity strategic plan named “Student Transformation”. This is position is a
temporary, 25 hours per week, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of the
Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Queens is committed to an academic culture that promotes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Coordinate & collaborate with key student organizations to develop or implement periodic
cultural events on campus such as National Hispanic Heritage Month, International/Diversity
Week, Black History Month, Yom Kippur, Ramadan, etc.
Coordinate, organize and implement the Annual MLK Day of Service and World Aids Day
Present classroom talks and/or facilitate student dialogues regarding diversity, inclusion and
cultural competence
Coordinate & track student participation in affinity groups such as the C-100, LEAD Peer
Mentoring Program and Women’s Intercultural Exchange mentoring program
Collect data, including grades, for student participation in key retention initiatives
Maintain the social media efforts such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Portal and Webpage for the
Office of Diversity & Inclusion
Complete an annual electronic newsletter for the department
Research “Best Practices” regarding cultural programming on campus for new programming
Non-Essential Duties

The Senior HRO Benefits Financial Analyst is responsible for the day to day management of
client team financial forecasting, revenue recognition, and assurance of proper fee submissions.
This associate is charged with coaching others as well as working directly with other analysts,
managers, and leadership to ensure accurate financial administration while adhering to
established financial policies. The primary focus of this role is to integrate and consolidate
