APPLICATION & ENROLLMENT FOR CLASSES TAKEN ON SALINA CAMPUS
Step 1: Application
Complete the application for admission located on our website at:
https://apply.ksu.edu/app/open/ChooseTerm_open.action
Please Note: On the third screen of the application you will be asked to choose an area of interest you must choose: College of
Technology & Aviation.
eID
During the application process you will be asked to create an eID. All K-State Students are required to have an eID. Your eID is
your K-State Username and becomes part of your K-State email. It is used to enroll in classes, access K-State Online and much
more. The first time you utilize your eID and password you may be asked to verify by inputing your Wildcat ID or social security
number. If you have an eID but have forgotten your password, please call 785-532-7722 to reset your password.

Step 2: Enrollment Form
Complete and submit the Enrollment Form to the Department of Professional Education and Outreach. The form can be
emailed to profed@k-state.edu; faxed to 785-826-2632; or dropped of in person at 2310 Centennial Rd., 105 Student Activities
Center. The form can be found at: www.salina.k-state.edu/profed/pdf/HS%20Enrollment%20Form.pdf
Step 3: Transcripts
Students will be responsible to provide their High School transcript to K-State Admissions. Request transcripts be sent to
Office of Admissions, Kansas State University, 119 Anderson Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506 or fax to 785-532-6393.
Step 4: Compass/ACT Scores
Students will be responsible to provide documentation of ACT score or take a compass exam. For placement score
requirements please visit: www.salina.k-state.edu/profed/kstatenow/admission_placement.html. To schedule a compass
exam visit: www.salina.k-state.edu/profed/testingcenter/schedule.html
Step 5: Application Processing
Please allow 5 business days for processing after your application and enrollment form have been received. A K-State
representative will contact you by email upon your application being fully processed and request that you enroll.
Step 6: Advising
Schedule a visit with Danielle Brown, Director of Professional Education & Outreach by calling 785-826-2633 or emailing
profed@ksu.edu.
Step 7: Enrollment
1: Visit www.k-state.edu/isis/help/students/stuAddClass.html for instructions on how to add a class. In a seperate browser work
through the iSIS steps to enroll.
2. Access the iSIS homepage at: isis.k-state.edu
3. Sign in with your eID and password
4. The course number can be found at: www.salina.k-state.edu/profed/kstatenow/enrollment_courses.html.
Step 8: Student ID
Students are required to have an official K-State Student ID. Your K-State ID is used for the library, student life center, off campus
activities sponsored by student life, and, if applicable, the residence halls. Get your K-State ID card at the Admissions office
located in the Welcome Center.
Step 9: Parking
Parking permits are required to park on campus in the non-visitor sections and may be purchsed in the Fiscal Affairs office on the
second floor of the College Center.
To purchase your permit:
1. Log into iSIS with your eID and password.
3. Click “Market Place”
2. Click “Self-Serve”
4. “Student Parking Permits”
Step 10: Textbooks
Textbooks can be found by clicking the textbook icon next to a course selecting the “Salina textbooks” link found in the
Student Center in iSIS. Or you can purchase your textbooks at the bookstore on the first floor of the College Center.
Step 11: Enrollment Confirmation Letter
Once enrollment is complete you will receive an enrollment confirmation letter with tuition, payment, drop date, grades and
transfer credit information.
Step 12: Payment Options
All billing is done electronically. Visit http://www.k-state.edu/finsvcs/cashiers/Student/eBillTutorial.htm for instructions on
how to access your tuition bill. Payment can be made by mailing a check with a copy of your ebill to the address on the bill. You
can also pay in person at the Business Office in Rm. 209 in the College Center. Be sure to include your WID number on your check.
Visit http://www.k-state.edu/onestop/designated-access for instructions on how to set up a PIN for
parents to view and pay tuition.
Step 12: Using Your eID
K-State Online: K-State Online (KSOL) is a tool used to post syllabi, course grades, assignments, exam dates and more. Find it at
www.online.k-state.edu
iSIS
Log into iSIS to enroll in courses, pay tuition, see mid-term and final grades, order transcripts and much more.

Webmail
Webmail is the default email address for all K-State students. Your email address is the eID you registered
followed by @k-state.edu (for example: williewildcat@k-state.edu) Students may choose to forward their webmail
to another email account.
