K-State Proud Co-Chair Application 2016-2017 (Email completed application by 11:59pm on Sunday, February 21st to stufdn@found.ksu.edu) Job Description Ambassador Dedicate yourself to the K-State Proud Campaign from April 2016 – April 2017. CoChairs will meet weekly to plan and implement the Campaign throughout the year Serve as figurehead and spokesperson of the campaign in all marketing and publicity. This includes regular speaking engagements with student organizations, corporate partners, media, etc. Project Manager Strategically plan and implement a major philanthropic campaign at K-State, including event planning, marketing, outreach to students, and mobilizing student volunteers Manage junior leaders and K-State Proud Committees in pursuit of campaign objectives Developer Cultivate the junior leaders of the campaign and its volunteers. Co-Chairs are expected to meet bi-weekly with their additional leadership. Lead the K-State Proud Executive Committee, a group of student leaders from Student Foundation who lead committees consisting of diverse students from all across campus. Qualifications Must be in good standing with Kansas State University Must be able to commit significant time between April 2016 and April 2017 to the K-State Proud Campaign Must be willing to lead with a servant heart, visionary mind set, and a competitive edge to advance the campaign Experience engaging a diverse array of groups both on campus and in the community Must have at least a cumulative 2.8 GPA. Finalists will be required to present to Student Foundation for 3-5 minutes and then answer a series of prompts on Sunday, March 6th. Results will be delivered the evening of Monday, March 7th by the Student Foundation Executive Committee and 2015-2016 Campaign Planning Team.
