Ms. Jane Tong
Co-founder & Managing Director
Giormani
Ms Jane Tong and Mr. Kelvin Ng founded Giormani in 1999 to provide quality,
comfortable and stylish sofa furniture. Giormani pioneered the ‘create your own sofa’
concept in Hong Kong, which allows customers to create their own sofas by choosing
their preferred size, colour, pattern and material. The products, combining the functionality with creativity,
demonstrate a kind of modish lifestyle. It has been actively expanding its retail business and become the
professional sofa specialty chain store in Hong Kong with 8 retail outlets in different districts. It has also
embarked successfully on developing the overseas markets. There are Giormani brand concept stores in
USA, Denmark, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Australia and products are also distributed to more than
40 countries worldwide.
Jane has always been showing her support for original local designs. She set up the Giormani Home
Gallery in the hope of injecting new creative elements into sofa designs and cultivating a wider range of
stylish home accessories by the collaboration with some local creative artists of different fields. The
crossover cooperation exemplifies Giormani’s support for design originality and commitment to foster
local creative community, by providing them with a platform where they can showcase their creative
talents and artistic works, thus generating new impetus to the creative culture in Hong Kong.
Giormani has also demonstrated its corporate social responsibility by launching the program of Little
Champion of Innovation, to nurture creative talents for the future of Hong Kong. Besides, a series of
Cushion Workshop have been held to inspire creativity and enhance the harmony of parent-child
relationship.
