Please increase the microphone volume on the altar. Thanks.” “Audio is like thermostat settings. Some, like you, want the volume higher. Others want it lower. Some want the thermostat set lower. Others want it set higher. We are all different and, unfortunately, I cannot please everyone. What is good for some is bad for others. Look around for speakers and try sitting closer to one.” Anonymous writes, “Bob said last Sunday that we are fortunate to have Father Mike. In a lot of ways we are. But he never respect my husband and I. He never answers our good morning. We been going to Visitation for 20 years and this never happens. He has to answer to God.” “I apologize. I shake tons of hands, kiss many cheeks and say hello to many, many people after each Mass. I NEVER deliberately avoid anyone. However, it is physically impossible to greet all. There are just too many people coming through the doors at the same time. PLEASE! Stop when you say good morning and grab my attention. I’d love to greet you.” Fr. Mike Good Friday “Meager Meal” The Knights of Columbus will be serving a Good Friday “Meager Meal” in the school cafeteria from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. The meal will consist of a small serving of vegetable soup and bread. 2 Did You Know? As I told you last week, only 53% of Americans believe it is necessary to believe in God to be moral. In France, the number is fifteen percent. Fr. Mike Check VOL’s Facebook page for a video of the importance of Holy Week and praying the Liturgy of the Hours! HELP FOR ZACHARY The Archdiocese of Tororo, Uganda has asked us to help it get a mechanically sound used car for one of its seminarians, Zachary Oburu. Zachary was an intern here last summer. He has also spent many of his holidays here. Zachary is studying at Notre Dame Seminary on Carrollton Ave., but he will be a hospital intern this summer in Orlando and needs basic transportation. If you would like to help, make your check payable to Visitation of Our Lady Church and put the words “Zachary Oburu” in the memo line. Tororo also says it would accept the “loan” of a car for the summer. Father Mike April 13, 2014 Palm Sunday Mass Intentions Sunday, April 13 8:00 a.m. Parishioners 10:00 a.m. John Hefti, Fr.
