FINGERPRINTING
All volunteers that participate at Granada Hills
Recreation Center must be fingerprinted by the
Department of Recreation and Parks.
REFUND POLICY
Full refunds are only issued when the Recreation
Center cancels the activity. A 15% cancellation fee is
assessed for all refunds. Changes or transfers per class,
sports league or day camp registration may be
assessed additional fees. After the first day of a
session, the Recreation Center issues a partial refund
to patrons withdrawing from the activity. Please allow
6-8 weeks for processing of all refunds.

$25.00 / hour without lights
$35.00 / hour with lights
Leagues must contact office; fees may vary.
Reservations includes $25.00 non-refundable fee
if cancelled within 14 days of event. Groups are
required to submit proof of insurance to city’s
online insurance system. For reservations M-F
before 6:00 PM & Saturdays, please call

CLASS REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Please read the following information carefully. A review of the registration procedures will assist with a successful registration process.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Walk-in registration for
all classes will begin at 9:00AM on Monday, March 7, 2016.
Registration will continue until each class fills. Payment may be
made by cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. Cash must be in exact
amount. Checks are to be made payable to “City of L.A.
Department of Recreation and Parks”. Check must contain name &
address printed by the bank. A Collection Fee will be charged for
each check returned by the bank. Class fees will NOT be prorated.
Class must be paid in full at time of registration.
Staff reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if minimum
enrollment is not met by April 4, 2016. Students must meet the
age requirements by the session start date. Staff reserves the
right to require proof of age at any time. It is the student/parent’s
responsibility to get to the class without phone notice from the
Recreation Center. Make-ups will not be scheduled when class is
missed by a student. No refunds and/or credits are given for
classes missed. Make-ups for holidays/classes cancelled by the
instructor will be scheduled at the end of the session.
Neither the City of Los Angeles nor Granada Hills Recreation
Center carries insurance! Patrons must carry their own insurance.

In the first pull down menu titled “CENTER”, choose “GRANADA HILLS RC” and click the “GO” button located to the right.
SELECTING AN ACTIVITY
Click on the “GO” button next to “BROWSE THE ENTIRE ACTIVITY CATALOG”. This will bring up a page with all activities offered. Find the
activity that you would like to register for and click “ADD ITEM”. If you would like to add another activity, click “ADD ITEM” and follow the
previous steps; otherwise choose “CHECK OUT”.
CUSTOMER LOG IN
-EXISTING CUSTOMER: Type in your username and password. If you do not remember it, click on “FORGOT YOUR USERNAME AND
PASSWORD” and it will be emailed to you.
-NEW CUSTOMER: Type in your (the payer’s) birthday in this format: MM/DD/YYYY (ex. 01/01/1970). Always enter the slashes. Then click
“GO”. Type in your name and billing address associated with the credit card you are using. PO boxes must he entered listing the number first
and the street as “PO BOX”. If you live in an apartment or other type of unit, make sure to include your unit address. Enter your phone
number including the area code with no parentheses or dashes (ex. 8183633556). Enter an email address you check often. Please list an
emergency contact other than you that you would like us to call if we cannot get in touch with you during an emergency. Double check your
information and click “NEXT”. NOTE: This is the information for whom is paying for the activity, NOT who is taking it.
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Fill in the information for the person who will be participating in the activity, including their name, birth date, and gender. When you are
finished, click “NEXT”. If you would like to add another participant to your profile, click on the “NEW PARTICIPANT” link located above the
heading “DATE OF BIRTH”. This will take you to another “CREATE PARTICIPANT” page where you will repeat the previous step of this section.
When you are done entering participants, click “NEXT”.
ASSIGN PARTICIPANTS TO ACTIVITIES
Click on the name of the participant who will be participating in the activity. Their name will then be highlighted. To register multiple
participants for the same activity, hold down the “CTRL” button on your keyboard and click on all of the names you would like to register.
Click “NEXT” when you are done. NOTE: If a participant is not the proper age for the activity, the system will not allow you to register them.
PAYMENT
The Online Activity Catalog only accepts Visa or MasterCard payments. Select the type of credit card you are using and click “NEXT”. Enter
your credit card number (with no spaces or dashes) as well as the expiration date. When you are done, click “NEXT”. It may take up to a few
minutes to process your payment. DO NOT click on the “NEXT” button more than once, this could result in multiple charges. If the registration
process has successfully been completed, you will see your Customer Receipt.

Ages: 3-5 years (must be toilet trained)
Days & Times: Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Fee: $230/month (plus one time non-refundable $30 registration fee)
Preschool is designed to prepare a child to successfully integrate into Kindergarten through
the development of socialization and interaction skills, number and letter recognition,
language, creative play, and fine and gross motor skills. Parents must provide lunch each day
their child attends. Birth certificate & immunization records required to register.

Days & Times: Monday-Friday Dismissal - 6:00 PM

Program includes a variety of activities including school pick-up by a trained
and certified driver, 1 hour homework assistance, daily snack, outdoor play,
games and sports, arts and crafts, cooking projects, and much more.

I further agree to relieve the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation & Parks, its officers, agents, and employees from any liability for injury to myself

PHOTO RELEASE: By registering I agree to allow the City of LA Department of Recreation & Parks, the Granada Hills Recreation Center, its agents and
assigned representatives to use photographs, video tapes, and testimonials of participants for use in publicity materials free of any fee or usage charge. As
it is difficult to pull individuals out of photographs & film, I understand that there is not an option for myself or my child(ren) to be excluded.
REFUND POLICY: Full refunds are only issued when the Recreation Center cancels the activity. A 15% cancellation fee is assessed for all refunds.
Changes or transfers per class, sports league or day camp registration may be assessed additional fees. After the first day of a session, the Recreation
Center issues a partial refund to patrons withdrawing from the activity. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing of all refunds. Credits or make-ups will not be
given for classes missed by the patron.
