multiplying messages through their social
networks

…which require
Dialogue + Reflection + Application

The role of schools/educators
• Students are fully briefed and prepared
• Relevance to career plans
• Application and reflection of career
conversations
• Career development findings (insight 3) fed
back to employee – career board, video,
gallery
• A letter of thanks to the employer – stating
their key learning outcomes
19
For discussion
What can schools/educators do to
support the adoption of WI by employers
and regions?
How can schools complement the
strategies embedded in WI with pre and
post activities?
20
How can you support WI?
• By raising awareness and interest with employers - from
the corner store to the corporate boardroom.
• What industry associations can you get interested?
• What creative and innovative ideas do you have to
support WI Australia?
• Can you help spearhead the awareness raising in
education circles, so we can build a community of policy
and decision makers ready to accelerate the adoption
across the country?
