BEGINNINGS
ECCO was founded in 1963 by Karl Toosbuy, an entrepreneurial
spirit who sold all his possessions, moved his family to the rural
Danish town of Bredebro and started the company.
For more than 50 years, we have produced high-quality shoes
according to his precise vision – combine innovative technology,
Scandinavian design and traditional craftsmanship with a keen
understanding of how the human foot functions.
